OLD song . . . never mind. . . :) we'll be in Miami for a few days and would really like to meet the local inmates. February 10, 11, 12th.

I'll be making a list of local cigar stores to visit on those days. Looking forward to your suggestions. Have a meeting in Pembroke Pines Friday afternoon / evening. Still wide-open Thursday & Saturday.

Then . . . we're off to Tampa (& Zephyr Hills) to visit wife's sister & Bro-n-law February 16, 17, 18 . . . same game plan.

My recommendation would be to head to calle ocho (sw 8th st) in Miami and just walk around to the different cigar stores. One of my favorites is el Titan de bronze. I don't have there addy with me but if you google them you will get there page with some info.

Also perdomo has a place off the palmetto expressway (sr826) which is open to the public.

Also Cuban crafters near Miami int airport. Nice walk in humidor and alot of cheap house brand bundles with Cuban coffee in store and friendly people.

That's just a few I can think of if you wanna shop and look around.

I'd like some help deciding on which cigar store/lounge to meet at. The choices seem overwhelming.

I'd like to set up something in the afternoon (& early evening) Thursday (2/10) . . . and the same thing again on Saturday (2/12) but, different places each day.

On Friday we have plans with our business partner all day in Pembroke Pines, but might be open to say hello (and have a cigar) before or after dinner. Just not sure where we'll end up.

On Thursday we'll be in the Calle Ocho area all afternoon.
I'm sure we'll end up at Aromas of Havana [14781 N. Biscane Blvd] after 5:00.

However, on Saturday, February 12th Smoke Inn Pompano . . .
after 4:30 works for us.
I put a call into Abe (owner) and asked if he could be there.
Would that be a good thing??

ALSO:
I plan on visiting other cigar stores in the area this Saturday afternoon just to see the stores & say hello:
Noon (lunch time) Aficionado's Cigar & Wine
around 2:00-ish at Cuenca Cigars
Smoke on the Water around 3:00-ish
. . . maybe a quick stop at Smoke Inn in Margate
then end up at the Smoke Inn Pompano store.

Update:

Going to start Thursday at Sabor Havana [ 2309 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables 305-436-8860] after lunch. Call if you want to meet for lunch!

Then, we'll fumble along Calle Ocho like a Lilly-white tourist. . . and end up at Aromas of Havana after 5:00.

Saturday. . . so far, so good! Hope you'll make the effort to join us! :)
