Motorcycle Thread..
 

Just had a look round the forum and couldnt find a motorcycle thread, and i thought it would be good to have one.

Motorbikes are another passion of mine and ive been riding them since i was young much to my parents dismay.

I currently have 2 bikes a 2004 aprilia rsv and a 2006 KTM supermoto!

Hmm current scoot is a '07 Streetglide.... rode in this morning. Snowy mix tomorrow so no riding, but may some on Sun.

Everyone here calls it a dirt bike. 525 Supermoto No signals, no speedometer, totally street legal wheelie machine.

Been riding since I was 9 so that makes 46 years later and still love it. About 10 bikes later this is my current one until I buy another one,,,Gold Wing!

i love gicksers, had a 750 a couple of years ago, my mate in work is selling his 2000 one as he is going to australia, im putting away some pennies to snap his up in march if he hasnt got rid of it.

do you have a pic?

Good to see other Supermoto guys here. No pics on this computer but I have a DRZ 400SM with a few mods. Hopefully next year I will be able to swing adding either a Husky SM510 or on the way other end of the spectrum a Ducati Hypermotard.

They lost me with the 999 but redeemed themselves with the 10/1198 series.

I'm pretty much on motororcycles as I am with cigars. Ride/smoke what ya like. That being said, my Streetglide gets it's work done at the local Ducati dealership ($15) an hour cheaper.

As I look at those bikes, they are just butt ugly to me. The bikes look like the builder just hangs parts off any spare space there is to attach some thing. I know the engineering is good, but asthetically - they have a long ways to go IMO. YMMV though.

My 06 gsxr600 (red/black)....these pics are a little old (the summer I got it and no mods were done) but that is all I can get to at work.....that is my ex-gf if you are wondering. :ss

Wow, lots of fast bikes in this thread!

I have a really slow and expensive 2000 Fatboy with a lot of chrome and Stage 2 engine mods. The engine is punched out to a 95 incher.
It makes lots of noise, sets off car alarms in the neighborhood, sends small children running from the 2 into 1 Thunder Header exhaust, and can't corner worth a crap.

Overheats as it is air cooled and I live in Florida and you could get 2 GSX'ers for the price I paid for it USED.

My 5 year old daughter just now isn't scared of it as she is scarred for life from a burn off the muffler after I told her to stand back!!!

I wouldn't trade it for the world, although that cute girl above would make me think....

Here's an older picture of my bike from January of this year. It is an 07 Warrior that I have installed a VBAK, PCIII, shaved/relocated some parts, rear lights, and Exhaust.
