Finally! An end to my homelessness is in sight!

I haven't been on here much lately, and believe me, I miss it.

I've been sleeping on a friend's floor while my wife and kids are living at the inlaws a few hundred miles north. We entered into this homeless situation on purpose (kind of) to save money while we searched for and purchased a house.

Well, long story short, after two unsuccessful offers on "short sale" houses, we finally found a great place down in Sayreville NJ. NOT A SHORT SALE! We put an offer in yesterday and it was accepted today. We're hoping to close by the middle of September. It's a cozy little house on a quarter acre with a beautiful 2-car garage (since we only have one car, I already have permission to build out the second half of the garage as a billiard room/bar). Indoor cigar smoking here I come!

Thanks Al for checking in on me from time to time. The bombs and the posts will start to flow again soon!

Nothing more honorable then doing everything within your power to accomplish a goal.

Congrats on the new address.

Don't you love trying to deal on those "short sale" houses? I'm in the process of trying to by a retirement home in Michigan and have looked at several short sales....it's almost impossible to do business with them.
