Weekly discussion for "The Unit"

I've been a fan of this show since day one. So far this season has started out pretty slow. Thoughts?

I too have been a fan for a while now. The first thing that irritated me was them changing the opening theme song last season.

As far as this season goes, I think it's starting to build up. After seeing previews for next week, its obvious that the teenage girl is going to really put a wrench in the relocation plan.

The BIGGEST problem with the Unit is it's only on once a week. :ss

I get where you coming from saying it's been a little slow, but I'd say they are trying to do more character development and give you a really deep plot this season.

Not liking this years so far... They tried to come in with a bang on the first plot. The relo is confusing me. But the new girl in the Unit, she more than makes up for it... She needs to keep talking in the fake E. European accent.

Last nights episode was pretty good. I think the show will turn around. Next weeks episode looks promising.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the wives involved in The Unit's business?

I am with you, involving the wives.. not a good plot line... But again, the new unit girl...smoking hot.

did anyone notice that the actor playing Elliot Gillum (the rich guy Jonas was after) was none other than Q from Star Trek?

a) it's a TV show

b) it's a TV show

c) it's a TV show

Haney should be ashamed of what Hollywood did with his story.

got real excited last week when Mac had the gun out with Tiffy, thought we were finally gonna end all that drama. Soon enough I hope.

Re: Weekly discussion for "The Unit"

I have been a fan of this show since it started. This years is not the best but it's still better than most shows out there. The wives tend to diminish the real concept of what the show is all about,,,they tend to be a bit whiny and bring too much estrogen into a testosterone driven action program. I think it was better when they did each show as an individual show instead of drawing out this thing they like to do,,a continuing saga that wanes. Wish they would let the new girl get more action time,,,always a nice bit of testosterone driven female action.
