Cigars and Food How many of you have cigars while eating? Do you smoke at the dinner table? Last weekend I went to an Italian restaurant in the Bronx and they allowed us to smoke and eat at the same time; how wonderful! Many times we have cheese and cured meats out while smoking at my house, but never a full blown dinner and cigars... Dinner table smoke at my house is normally after dinner... |

Re: Cigars and Food At my golf club they have steak & cigar dinners on a monthly basis during the spring/summer. Smoking a cigar and eating a big, fat, juicy steak is like heaven on earth. |

Re: Cigars and Food This is just my 2 cents: I enjoy a cigar after a meal, but never during. To me no matter how good the meal or cigar is, I could never smoke and eat at the same time. The thought of it turns me off. Just my opinion |

Re: Cigars and Food I smoke during meals all the time. A good scotch, steak, and cigar makes for a wonderful evening. Though I'll smoke while eating just about anything. |

Re: Cigars and Food I used to think that smoking and eating was a bad combination until I started trying it at cigar events. Now I think it's great. I love the mixture of tastes and smells.:ss |

Re: Cigars and Food Yeah, I don't know if I'm up for that. Not knocking those of you who do but I just don't think that's my cup of tea. I prefer a smoke free environment when I'm eating. :2 |

Re: Cigars and Food the MoB crew went to a restaurant that allowed smoking once and I believe we smoked during appetizers but not during the meal. |

Re: Cigars and Food The BABOTL can't Herf without food, especially BBQ!!! To those that this does not appeal to - Try it you may like it!!! I wish we could smoke in restaurants here!!! |

Re: Cigars and Food Not with full blown meals. Ive eaten dark chocolate while smoking but thats about it. |

Re: Cigars and Food They allowed you to smoke in a restaurant in the Bronx? That's very unusual with NYC's public indoor smoking ban. How late was it? |

Re: Cigars and Food I've had a smoke during appetizers, and as long as it was light, I had no problem. But a full blown meal was kind of weird with the flavors overwriting each other; the cigar tasted like chicken kiev. |

Re: Cigars and Food I don't like the way it makes my food taste. |
|
Re: Cigars and Food The wife won't let me at home... but it happens all the time at the B&M or at local Cigar Dinners. :ss |
|
Re: Cigars and Food that's grotesque. just my opinion... my mother-in-law smokes cigarettes while eating - bear in mind, i'm a reformed smoker myself - and that would make me sick as well. |
|
Re: Cigars and Food Don't usually smoke and eat at the same time BUT since I work pt in a B&M I do eat while there's smoke in the air. No probs. :tu |

Re: Cigars and Food I have to be careful otherwise I smoke my food and eat the cigar! :ss |

Re: Cigars and Food Some foods Yes others NO |

Re: Cigars and Food I don't mind snacking on meats while smoking, but I don't think I'd enjoy a full fledged meal with a cigar Bacon makes everything better, this includes cigars |

Re: Cigars and Food cant say that i do. i seem to focus on the food a lot when eating or the cigar when smokeing. the one that i am not watching will get cold and i dont like that. |
