I was just using the Big Island as the name for Hawaii. I couldn't get out there for the Big Smoke on April 1st/my birthday...but I told him as soon as I get my retro-active check I'd be able to do it. I don't know which island Marvin lives on.

Yes Marvin lives on Oahu, his shop is right in Honolulu pretty close to Waikiki... I lived less than a mile from his shop for awhile.

Got a Man O' War sampler and a fiver of the Antaño 1970 Consul... been VERY excited about both of these brands, an the Antaños smell BEYOND tasty.

On a side note, those 2 Ruinations are extremely different in coloring, and they smell much different as well. one is VERY chocolaty, and the other smells like just really really good tobacco. This is kinda weird, honetsly.

Received my "Sampler of Mystery and Intrigue" from Scott (Shilala) this afternoon...and WOO HOO...did not disappoint. Some of these sticks are old as dirt…look at those crusty, yellow cellos. Scott sent a SHOVEL LOAD (42 sticks) of HTF and RARE sticks to make me a very happy camper. Scott knows what I like…plenty of maduros to make me drool for days here. Thank you so very much Scott!!

Not a purchase of my own, but my wonderful mother decided to buy these for me. She warned me about it before she gave it to me and said she knew nothing about cigars but that she bought a bunch of them and a box. After unwrapping the box, this is what I was greeted with:

Despite them not being Padron Annis, there are still some incredible smokes in there that I have been wanting to try for quite some time now! I love my mom! :)
