Actually those look like a new band with a yellow tint to them. I am used to seeing them with this band. http://cigarsmoker.files.wordpress.c...0/100_2113.jpg
Looks like they may have recently updated the JJ bands, but it has been some time since I have bought any.
No pics yet but the mailman showed up with a 10 count box of the Wolfman today.
Sorry for the huge photo. Found it on Google Images but it placed it way too huge.

Picked the cigars up today and the cutters earlier in the week (ebay). The shop owner highly recommended the 601's.

Sorry, I really wasn't trying to be the bearer of bad news. When I first saw your pic I was like WOW! but than I noticed the bands looked like the rest of the newer style bands where the JJs always seemed to retain the older style. Sorry if my post seemed d*ckish. Wasn't my intention at all and for gods sake if anyone knows how to re-size the image I placed please do as I did not intend for it to be the size of a skyscraper.

I like the cutters. Those 601 La Bombas are a good smoke. Nice change of pace for me.


Kevin, those JJs with the new bands are good to go right now. Smoked one I picked up at work a couple weeks ago, definitely my favorite DPG. The JJ maddies have always had the off white color bands. I used to think they used the same ones on the Naturals and the Maduros, but then I saw one of the DPG robusto samplers we have at work, the Maduros had an off white color to em.

1st fiver was a hookup from a buddy, i asked for a "couple" he sent me a 5er of a non-production cigar!:sl I'm sure he had no idea that my birthday was this week, but i really am grateful!

Some DPG's came today 6er of Cuban Classics and a 6er of Casa Royale, never had/heard of the Casa but it's a Pepin blend so probably can't go wrong :tu
