Finally finished Dominion, started "mere Christianity" by C S Lewis and also "Forest Laird" by Jack Whyte. The latter was sent to me from Canada, as it is not yet in print here in the US. Like most of Whyte's writting, I can't put it down, excellent. Lewis, on the other hand, is a bit of a tough read. Good though. |
Re: What are you reading?
Finished up Magic Kingdom for Sale/Sold by Terry Brooks. Decent book not my favorite from him. Now onto Gauntlgrym by RA Salvatore on the Nook and I am reading True Evil by Greg Isles in paper.

I have about 3 books going and had to abandon them.
Now I'm reading a giant pile of Shop Notes magazines and CAD/CAM software manuals. I have to morph into a student, it's a tough switch. |

Re: What are you reading?
Just got a kindle fire for my birthday. I've downloaded a bunch of the free out-of-copyright books and love having them so close. I'm reading the Count of Montecristo right now (although it was $.99).

If you are looking for a detailed military history this is not going to give you what you want. But for an overview of the political, military, and social history of the third reich it's an amazing read. |

Edit: And, it's not available on the kindle yet. I'll keep my eyes open for it. |
