I've been drinking Rainwater Madeira lately. A fortified wine much like sherry but brighter and fruitier than that.

Stone Smoked Porter w/ vanilla bean

Asian pear martini

1.5 ounces pear vodka
1 ounce sake
1 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce lime juice

Muddle 2 or 3 1 inch chunks of Asian pears or any pear in a tumbler. Add the aforementioned ingredients and shake. Serve over ice or strain into a martini glass
Paired with some fresh spring rolls in rice paper wraps with Nuoc Cham dipping sauce

It's only the second one I've had; the first was at a BBQ after having had about four other beers so my opinion of it was slightly cloudy. :D I had this as my first during the football games and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Surly Abrasive right now. Kinda wishing I would've went for the left hand milk stout instead. Or surly darkness. There's only a few bottles of darkness left at my local. I just for some reason can't spend $20 on a bottle.
