Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, it's back to work but it's a short week and I took Thursday off in preperation of New Year's eve. There were some good and bad football games yesterday but all-in-all, the day was a relaxing one. I'll enjoy watching all the college Bowl games this week that are televised as the schools have nothing to lose and will play thier hardest to win. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and gets ready to bring in the new year........ :banger

Good morning everybody and yes, the coffee is on as always. I got to watch yesterday's Bowl game between Georgia and Texas A&M. The special teams for Georgia won the game for them with a final score of 44 - 20. I didn't watch much of the Vikings / Bears game but I do see that the Bears won it in overtime 36 - 30. There are a couple of more Bowl games today and hopefully I get to see some of them. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy....... :ss

Last night there were a couple of good Bowl games on and it was good to see UCLA come back and win the game over Temple. Then in the later game Wisconsin was victorious over Miami. Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. A number of us were at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars last night enjoying primo stogies and watching some great college football. The Idaho / Bowling Green game came down to the final seconds with Idaho completing a 2 point conversion winning over Bowling Green 43 to 42. The Nebraska vs. Arizona game was a blowout in favor of the Cornhusker 33 - 0. I know that they'll be a number of good games again today and hopefully I get to watch a couple of them. Later on this evening Beth and I will be heading over to one of our nephews home to bring in the New Year and enjoy the festivities. I hope everyone has a safe evening as well and you get to enjoy a few of your favorites while your at it......... :tu

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso is on. Just how it's been for the past few days, yesterday's college Bowl games outstanding. Started the day off by going over to Schlesingers Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars and enjoying a few primo sticks with Ralph (ilcchef2) who gifted a nice one from south of Miami. Finished off the evening watching Bowl game after Bowl game, what could be better. Today we have some NFL games to watch; Giants vs. Vikings, Eagles vs. Cowboys and then this evening Jets vs. Bengals. Glad I'm staying in today as the temps are staying in the single digits most of the day with the wind chill added to it. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well........ :D

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, I didn't stay up for the entire Fiesta Bowl but what I did see of the Boise State vs. TCU was a head to head game. I see that Boise State won 17 - 10, congrats to the Broncos and thier undefeated season. Tonight at 2000(8pm) we have the Orange Bowl with Iowa taking on Georgia Tech on the FOX network. Anyway, I hope everyone has good day and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, it took a while but Central Michigan won over Troy to win the GMAC Bowl in double overtime 44 - 41. That means one thing, tonight is the BCS Bowl Championship between Alabama & Texas. It should be a good match up with #1 taking on #2 in the BCS Standings. We'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening enjoying primo stogies and watching at least the 1st half there. Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso is on. Congrats to Alabama for winning the BCS Bowl game 37 - 21 over Texas who's quarterback was out of the game in the first series with a shoulder injury. Schlesinger's was packed and S/BOTL from all over that we haven't seen in a while showed up for the game. For this weekend, Saturday should be a good one with NFL Wild Card play games starting at 1630(4:30pm) and continuing through the night. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys......... :chr

Good morning everyone and as always, the coffee is on. Had a good afternoon yesterday at Schlesinger's / Hudson Valley Cigars watching the Patriots fall to the Ravens 33 -14 while smoking a couple of primo stogies. But the best game all weekend was the 2nd game yesterday; the Packers / Cardinals was a head to head battle with Arizona winning in overtime, 51 - 45. I'm sure all of the teams that are scheduled to play next weekend are stepping up there game now and I can hardly wait till Saturday. Good morning all and as always, the joe is brewin'. Well, yesterday's NFL game winners were no surprise. New Orleans and Indianapolis both won thier games and have advanced to thier respective conference championship games next week. Today we have Dallas taking on Minnesota at 1300(1pm) and then the New York Jets vs. the San Diego Chargers will follow at 1640(4:40pm). Both games should be exciting and I hope that the Jets advance for Beth's sake. Anyway, I hope everyone continues to enjoy the weekend and gets to smoke a favorite or two....... :chr

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, it was good to see the Jets win as they were considered the underdog and congrats to the Vikings as well. So the playoff picture next Sunday is Jets at Indy starting around 1500(3pm) and then the Vikings at New Orleans at 1830(6:30pm). Should be a good day of football but it would be great to see the Jets go to the big game for Beth. Today, I'm going to go over to West Point and pick up Cadet Eric Reder and spend a few hours in a local cigar shop. Depending on how much time Eric has off will determine what shop we stop at. I've taken him a couple of time to Schlesinger's / Hudson Valley Cigars but I'd like to show him Israel's place; Uptown Cigar Shop. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's always nice to start the work week off on a Monday. It was a very good day yesterday weather wise and I ended going to Kingston and spending it with Israel and his crew at he Uptown Cigar Company. Enjoyed lunch a Lucy's Tacos(next door) and smoked a couple of top knotch ceegars. One of our old friends stopped by as he was in the area on business, you know him as CoventryCat86. It was good to see Bill and and I hope he makes it to the Quad State Herf as he still has a lot of friends in this and other communities. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. I had an early morning as I had to drop a couple of guys from work at the Newark NJ Airport to catch a 0730 flight to Orlando. No problem though as it was only an hour earlier than I usually get up. Anyway, yesterday was a great time down at the Metro Cigar Society, George(Tazman) and all of the guys down there treat us really well everytime we visit. The food was great and we enjoyed primo stogies all day. I wanted to thank Tommy Zman (planetZman) for the tasty cigar he gifted and it was my pleasure in finally meeting him. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0400. Well, we all know now that the Superbowl will be the Saints taking on the Colts, at least the halftime show will be cool :D . What I'm waiting on now is the 2010 NASCAR season to start which will be in 2 weeks. The Bud Shootout is scheduled for the day before the Superbowl and then the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 14th. The Rolex 24 will be resuming it televised portion this morning at 0700(7am) and run straight through till the finish at 1530(3:30pm) on SpeedTV. Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. We took a look at this week's weather on NOAA and they are calling for snow this evening. The weather guessers have been a little off this season but I'm sure that they are tracking:

Today: A chance of light snow, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 30. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tonight: Light snow likely, mainly after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 19. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Wednesday: A chance of light snow, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Calm wind becoming northwest between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Well, the weather guessers were wrong again as I woke up at 0400 to see how much snow we got and it hasn't snowed here a bit. Thank god as I had no interest to go out today and clean off the Jeeps and then shovel. I know that the Washington D.C. / Philadelphia area got hit hard and I hope everyone in that zone is okay. As far as today, we have Danica Patrick starting in her first ever stock car race (ARCA Series) at 1630(4:30pm) and then this evening the Bud Shootout is scheduled to start at 2000(8pm). It's great to see that the 2010 race season has begun and Speed Week down in Daytona a heck of a way to start it off. Good morning all and yes, the joe has been brewing for a while. I couldn't sleep so I figured I check out what's up. Had good day yesterday, smoked a couple of ceegars at the Hudson Valley Cigar shop http://www.hudsonvalleycigars.com/ and then came home and watched stock car racing for the rest of the day. Today as we know is the Superbowl and I hope that the new Orleans Saints win it for the community and the teams sake. After Hurricane Katrina devestated Louisiana back on the 25th of August 2005, it will mean a lot to the folks down there that lost everything. What I'm presently trying to do is get my CigarFest 2010 tickets in the Poconos but as I tried 3 times to get past the ordering page on CI, I kept getting knocked off of their server. Now it's saying that they are conducting maintenance (Server Crashed) and will be back up shortly. We'll see!!! Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, no luck in getting any CigarFest tickets as of yet. By the time I got through on the telephone, the VIH and General Admission tickets were sold out. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a while now. We had an "Adverse Weather Condition Conference Call" at 0400(4am) this morning as a result of the pending storm heading our way. West Point is "Code Red" today which means that only emergency personnel have to report to work so the snow removal folks can do their jobs. It's always nice to be able to stay home especially on a Wednesday to break up the work week :D . Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Yesterday, we ended up with a good 9+ inches of snow and now the storm is out to sea. We have a 2 hour delay this morning as the mountain that a majority of us cross to get to work is a bit slick still as well as other major roads that lead into West Point from outlining communities. Since today is Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars enjoying primo ceegars and viewing the guys pictures from last weeks trip to Nicaragua. Yesterday they had the Duel 150s (NASCAR races) to determine who's in and who's out of the Daytona 500 this Sunday as well as the line up. http://www.nascar.com/ Tonight is the first truck series race and then tomorrow is the opening Nationwide series race with Danica Patrick make her debut in that race as well. Well, last night at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars we had a great time talkin' all sorts of cigar news and enjoying primo sticks as well. Due to the inclement weather down in Daytona Beach yesterday, the NASCAR Camping World Truck series race got rescheduled to this evening at 1830(6:30pm). Also today we have the Nationwide series race at 1300(1pm) which should be a good one. I'm just anxious to see some good side by side racing at Daytona and as Darrell Waltrip says it: "Boogity Boogity Boogity, Let's Go Racin' Boys". Good morning all and yes, the coffee is brewing. Well, there were two great races yesterday building up to today's Daytona 500. I can hardly wait to hit the sports bar and watch this great American race. Hopefully, Dale Jr. wins it or at least finishes in the top 5 and Mark Martin takes the checkered as it's one of the races he has yet to win. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Yesterday's Daytona 500 was a long one with 2 extended delays due to problems with the track. After it was all over, congrats to Jamie McMurray and the entire Earnhardt Ganassi Racing team. Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the #88 Amp Chevrolet made a final charge and ended up 2nd to make it a good points day.

Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. We had a good day yesterday up in Kingston, NY visiting Israel and the crew at the Uptown Cigar Company. We made our way over to Lucy's Tacos for lunch which is always a treat for mexican food lovers. This week should go by rather quickly since we only have to work 4 days and and tomorrow is already "Hump Day". I hope everyone has a good day and takes the time to enjoy a favorite cigar or two or....... :tu

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Yesterday the pitchers and catchers arrived at Spring Training so it's only a little time now that we start to see some baseball again. Don't get me wrong, I love the Winter Olympics and you know that I'm a huge NASCAR fan, but baseball is the American pass time as we know. Anyway, today being Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson valley Cigars this evening enjoying primo stogies and catching up on this weeks happenings.
