The attack seemed to snap Rick's head back in the game. At least for a minute or two.

That was great to see. It will be interesting to see how Merle fits into this crazy dynamic the group now has.

No LOL nice catch. :tu And I try to keep an eye out for "continuity errors". Missed that one.

So what's next with the Folsom Prison crew? Go back and attack Woodland again?

That was a great episode.

Merle is awesome! With that big grin like he did something good like a puppy wagging it's tail.

Re: Walking Dead Season 3

I was actually a bit disappointed with this episode.

The attack was dry and obvious (how cliche with Rick running out of ammo twice and the truck of walkers didn't look like much of a threat in such a large open space) and I just have this feeling we will spend the next few episodes with skirmishes back and forth that will become repetitive and not really go anywhere (reminds me of Season 2 looking for Sophie).

To continue with the cliches, let me guess, the final "win" will come when rick, michonne, daryl & meryl, and tyreese's crew all join forces to overcome the Governer and his 2 or 3 henchmen.

Here's hoping to see something interesting - tackling the food shortage, disease in the prison, unrest in woodbury, lauries ghost cheats with shanes ghost and disappears to mexico.

Yep, I sure did....nice catch

I thought it was a great episode and what episode 9 should have been.

Hell I was convinced when the Gov told Andrea no retaliation, I'm a sucka

Hershel is STILL the voice of reason I like how he talks to Rick, I was glad to hear Rick say he knows she's not really there, but that she is telling him something maybe that was kinda interesting to me.

Bye Bye Child Molester (can't remember his name)

Dod you all see Carol's little giddy shrug? That was cool to me, it brought back her human side to me if you will, because they have all been on their guard so much and deservedly so that it was nice to see her act like that again.

Why is Maggie so upset at Glenn? What did he do? He wanted to know if the Gov raped her and he got that answer, I didn't understand that part really.

Where was Tyrese?

Darryl & Merle's little tussle in the woods was meh, will be interesting to see how they treat Merle in the group yeah he helped, but how will he really act towards them?

Great last few mins of the episode, reminded me of HEAT in a way lol, I didn't want it to end.

Sensitive issue. My impression was that Glenn theorized what happened to Maggie in her "captivity" and maybe considered her a "spoiled" woman.

Maggie made clear the details of the assault. She also alleged she was partially put into that position because of him, and her interaction with the Gov was, in part, one of the reasons he ( Glenn) is still alive.

I would agree.

Re: Walking Dead Season 3

I now have Eps. 9-11 on my flash drive. My new computer motherboard and chip that I put in, after cooking my last
motherboard, is capable of compiling and burning a DVD in about 20 minutes. Quite a step up from my last one,
that could manage to maybe do it in 2 hours, IF it wasnt too complex, or too HD, or too long. So I will be able to
watch Eps. 9-10 tonight. Looking forward to it.

OH, and yes, Andrea is a whore. OK maybe not so much a whore as a bit(h. ANd maybe not so much a bit(h as
she is a STUPID bit(h. That's the same disease that killed Lori, you know.

Ok kudo to Hershel & Carl for telling Rick to step up and maybe take a break and let someone else take the reigns for a bit (Darryl)

Was nice seeing Merle back in the group......I'd still keep him at a safe distance

Who else cheered when Tyrese came out of the forest then yelled in disbelief when he went with the the Gov?

Milton sucks and needs to go

Saw the episode yesterday. Not a whole lot happened.

I didn't think that Tyrese had completely left the prison, I thought they just gave Rick some space after his moment.

And yes Andrea's another word for a long-handled gardening tool.

walking dead / generic zombie game for anyone who cares.
arrow keys to run
spacebar to shoot
arrow down to pick up item
arrow up air assault

pretty much the most logical place to put it.

I got a friend in GA who is one of the recurring Zombies on the show. I have recognized her several times in different makeup. She said they have a main group of about 10 or so who are their main Zombie group and the rest are daily extras. She has toured the country going to comic book conventions and says it's pretty cool. Unfortunately she won't tell me anything about the show. She says that they are really tight with the non-disclosure agreements.

You know what I am surprised no one has mentioned...I watched Epi 9 last night, and when Rick got back from
totally flubbing up the rescue of Darryl, Herschel's youngest (remaining) daughter gave him a big kiss, angling
to be the baby's new momma and to rub out all Rick's leader stress. Then the camera cuts to his son whom we all
know wants to grow up and give the world another shot by making some babies with her. They didn't play some
dramatic music or linger too long on it, but that's gonna end up being ugly when it happens again.

Great Episode.
Rick seeing what he could become and then finally letting someone in.

Great exchange between Rick and Michonne before the ride back.

And the Orange backpack scene Made me laugh a bit.

Concur - I thought the whole scene with Michonne & Carl in the bar was pretty cool; especially the two of them sharing a moment in font of the doors to the place with the walker hoard all pressed up against the windows. Carl's faith in another human being is restored and for a moment he's not the stone cold killer he's been portraying. Meanwhile in the background, the walkers' faces are all smooshed againsted the windows as they try to nom, nom, nom on him & Michonne.

That was a great Scene, their faces were clearing the dust from the inside of the glass, so that was what you saw most clearly.

He was so clam just standing there letting them push on the glass.
I was almost waiting for the glass to break and all hell break loose

I do like that they closed that loose end. I just find it interesting that Morgan knows where they are but Morgan gave NO indication that he would recover from his mental state but i just have this feeling. I can't recall any character of note that gets left outta of the story...the writers seem to have all characters either part of the storyline or dead.

Good point and I don't put it past them to have him come back, but just the way Rick left him and even said that he wasn't alright......idk just seems like they closed that chapter of the story and now onto the gov.

Re: Walking Dead Season 3

What tripped me about that episode is that they went all the way back into Ricks town. I figured they were so far away from the town by now. If I went all the way back I'd be looking for the "Vatos" that were helping the retirement home out too.
