Phoenix unfortunatley started out all wrong. Having gone to games in the old building you would know why. In the old building if you sat on the end bowl you would have to watch the game on the jumbo tron when they came down to the end as the way the stands were set up you were literaly over the action. The league wants to keep the team there so it will be interesting to see what they do. |

UHhhhhhhhh
Bye Wayne. Guess you can officially call his initial coaching stint a failure. Then again he wasnt exactly given a blank check or much to work with. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=4...id=DL|NHL|home |

Re: NHL '09 - '10 Thread
Biggest rumor in Chicago doesn't involve the Hawks, but their AHL team, the Wolves:
Chris Chelios tmay sign with the AHL's Chicago Wolves if he is unsuccessful in landing an NHL contract in the next week. At 47 years of age it appears the chances of him signing an NHL deal is slim at best. The Wolves opened up camp last week and there is a very strong chance Chelios arrives shortly thereafter. It makes sense for the veteran D-man to stay in Chicago where he's surrounded by family including his son who plays for the the Chicago Steel in the USHL. |
