I don't typically seek out Davidoff...but since they were in the box. From what I can find, these are 2003 with 2000 tobacco.

Picked these up from my local shop last night. Joya de Nicaragua Antonio sampler, bundle of Cubana Real habanos for the wife, and 3 Berger and Argentis.

The Berger and Argentis are rolled in the old Cuban style where the ligero is rolled in the center of the cigar instead of folded in with the rest of the filler, that's what you see sticking out. Apparently only 2 rollers in the world still do this. And the JdN was a challenge from the owner to see if I could handle them, he says they get him high every time.

Have you had the Puros Huerfanos? Ive heard good things.
Thats why I bought them, it was a recommendation buy some of the guys here. I will be heading to the porch in a minute for a test run.

I have not. This is the firstbtime the shop has had them, he said they have been on backorder for a year. He had 2 boxes, so i figure theyll be there for a few weeks since theyre about $8.

I think TexCigars is showing that they have stock.

I tried to order a bunch of things from Texcigars, showed as in stock. Got an email several days later, not in stock, and some of the stuff would be coming in soon, but others not likely (illusione culebras).

I know. If I wouldn't feel like such a terrible person, I'd cut off 1.5" off the end and go to work. At least I know they'll get some good age on them since I don't usually feel like spending 2+ hrs on a single stick.

Hell, lop em in half. Put a thin piece of tape around the cut end to keep it from coming unrolled and make some Petite Robustos. -(P

I do this w/ Lanceros when i just want a 30-40 min stick.

You are definitely an idea man. I'll give it a shot with one. The box date is april, so I'm goint to let them sit a few months. I think the blues are a much better smoke with about a year on them.
