Re: Red's Fans Check in
Bailey down, Leake and Cueto probably won't be here at the end of the season, the bullpen sucks except for Cingrani and Chapman. It doesn't look good for next year either. Desclafani and Lorenzen have been bright spots so far though.

No more Gregg! He's gone!

Sat thru a 2 hour rain delay to watch them lose last night :(
Oh well... at least the beer was good. |

They couldn't get a clutch hit if it bit them on the a$$

Reds haven't won a game since I got back from vacation...over a week ago! Six losses and two off-days I think.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Bryan Price got ejected from today's game while he was turning in the lineup card!
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Adam Dunn is retired, but this team is more than well dunn.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Overheard at Beer Sellar, cigar friendly watching hole across the river from Great American Ballpark: "This streak goes three longer, we can sing a new tune: 'The twelve days of Reds-loss'."
Okay it was me who said it, working on the lyrics already. |
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Nice day at the ballpark yesterday with the boys. The result of the game, not so much. The way they are playing does make the ticket prices cheaper. :tu

Absolutely pathetic!

Re: Red's Fans Check in
How embarrassing...

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Watched last night's train wreck down at Beer Sellar. Afterwards I asked the bartender if I should hand over my belt and shoelaces to keep from doing myself in. She said sure, but then again the Ohio River is right behind you past the patio...
Geez. |
Re: Red's Fans Check in
When are they gonna blow this team up? Keep Votto, Frazier, and Phillips. After that, I could care less.
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Well, we know Cueto and Leake will be dealt this year.
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Any shoppers for Homer Bailey and his $100 million? :bh

Congratulations to Todd Frazier for winning the 2015 HR Derby! Finaly, a reason Reds fans can cheer this year.
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
I must admit that was exciting! Good for Todd!

I also put in a bet before the game that Frazier would win the derby. I wagered $10 and it paid out $55 :tu |
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Looks like Cueto is going to the Royals. The deal that fell through last night has been reworked. Neither club has yet confirmed it though.
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Looks like we got some good LHP's for Johnny Beisbol :)
|
Re: Red's Fans Check in
All three look promising, Dan.
Looks like all of our trading is done. It was reported today that no teams are interested in Chapman at this point. And I don't think we are gonna get anything for Leake or Bruce at this point. |
Re: Red's Fans Check in
Thanks for Cueto, fellas. It'll be nice change of pace to have our best pitcher start the game instead of finish them. :r

The Reds still have their ace. Bailey is going to be Johnny Beisbol 2.0. Or at least they paid him as such. :bh

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Once again we leave oodles of men in scoring position. The Reds have missed more scoring chances than Carter has little liver pills. Frazier is having a nice season, but he sure does leave ducks on the pond a whole lot! You can have all the great pitching you want, but if you can't hit to drive runs in, it doesn't really matter.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
And, aren't fights in MLB the lamest of any professional sport ? Both teams come onto the field and...
exchange heated words. I expected girl slaps or "thumb wars" or an all out tickle fest to start at any moment between the Reds and Pirates. |

Yoko Ono song seems good about now: "Number 9, number 9"...for the Reds' second losing streak of that amount this season.

I'm not even watching the games anymore.......

Hey!!!! We broke the losing streak! :r

Quite the meltdown from Joey Votto last night. You get the best tantrums from teams that are in the cellar of their division.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Reds baseball comes to another close. Thank the Lord this season is over. Looks like next year will be pretty bad as well, especially now that they've announced that Price is coming back as manager again. Ugh. Looks like the plan for next year is to keep on losing.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Reds win! Probably not going to have more than 60-70 chances to say that in 2016.
