Meh. We have the SNL 1st season box set, and his "shorts" are painful to watch. Thank God for chapter skip. Brooks and Fred Armisen must be related somehow.
For me, I caught The Village on cable yesterday. Not bad, although I understand a leaked script forced them to change M. Knight Shamalamadingdong's original twist ending...

I saw all three movies based on the millennium books, the girl with the dragon tattoo, the girl who played with fire and the girl who kicked the hornets nest. They are all great even with subtitles.

Yup! Love those movies. And the books! I think the books are even better.

Watched The Fighter tonight, good movie. Bale did a good job.

I watched the second half of Magnolia last night. I think I need a few more viewings before I figure
out just what the hell all that is supposed to mean. Sometimes I watch a movie and it is good or
bad. What I do not like is a movie where I KNOW it is supposed to have some deep meaning, but all
I get is pops and whistles. I have a general feeling about it, but I sure wouldn't float an explanation, lol.

I liked that movie. I think I've watched it three or four times now, or at least parts of it. I didn't think it was "great", but I really enjoy watching it. It's kinda weird that it's not one of my all-time faves, considering how much time I have in it, but it does have tons of elements that make it very watchable.
I think the colors they used to pull off the post-apocalyptic thing just put me off. It'd be so much better if it was shot in real colors, or at least I think so.

I watched Ghostbusters the night before last. It was fun. For all you guys that can remember taking your kids to that, or going to see it as a kid, It's 27 years old. I couldn't believe it was from 1984.
It was fun all over again, I enjoyed it bunches. :tu

I dont really go to the movies. I don't support the actors or uber liberals so they don't get my money. But I do watch them at home but not pay per view. NOt to make this political but the costs just are to high and I got tired of cell phones and talking while paying $20+ for 2 people and I love popcorn so that is a must but you need a loan to buy it and a drink so I just stopped going.

Same here too much $$$, I prefer blurays on my media center PC at home. I got sick of threatening annoying kids to STFU or find themselves falling down 40-50 stair steps.

Just finished the Clerks Cartoon double dvd :tu Not really a movie but I think it counts!
