Swear to God, one of these days the Yanks are gonna get a hit with runners in scoring position.

Maybe Matsui should pop another up to short.

A Johnny Rocket to right - 3-0 Yanks!

Nice to see a Johnny Rocket to get him out of his slump.

Looks like this is going to be one solo HR at a time.
A-Rod just came up a hair short of #4 for the game.

The Poet 10-19-2009 03:53 PM

Re: Yankees vs Angels ALCS 2009

A-Rod juuuuuust missed it.

What's Teixeira's problem? He's the only one in the starting 4 hitters without a homer?

He's using his glove today.

He did hit that game-winner against the Twinkies, but he's caught the A-Rod diesase for sure.

He's hit the ball hard a few times (most notably the HR against the Twinkies), but I think he is pressing this post season. Just wants to do too much his first time.

This is gonna be tough to see the Yankees celebrating the ALCS and World Series on someone else's field, as I doubt they will need home field in either series.

How I wish this was the Red Sox though........

Let's not get crazy yet lol
Phillies should be a worthy opponent, if it plays out that way.
Plus, I'm still concerned about Cano's ability to perform in cold weather, which it would be in both ballparks

That was the 1st HR given up by the Yankees this postseason.

But even though he's out of Boston, Pedro will always know who his Daddy is.

Sidenote for those not listening on the radio - Susyn just said there are 7000 people watching the game in Yankee Stadium.

Well, at least they have better weather today. :r

Yankees can't walk-off on the road.

Inning over, damage done.
Time to take the wind out of their sail and spoil the temporary high.
Need some runs now rather than later.

Correct on the first point, as the man can hit without question, but no need to go back to the "drawing board."

It's very simple, as a true champion comes right back in the top half and gets another run.

Well that is what I meant.
Need runs to silence the joy.
