Lisa and I went and found a place to get married tonight. We're just going to have family and have lunch. The place is called Welshfield Inn. It's really nice, and should work out perfect.
We're going to have our reception a little later down the road once we can make time to plan. We already know what we're gonna do, or at least we have a real good idea. It's gonna be tons of fun, we're really excited about it. The wedding, too. :)

Today is tux day. I have to go see Frank, he's my future brother in law. He owns a tux distributorship, so I get the family special.
I wasn't going to wear a tux, but he'd be pissed if I didn't. So a tux it is.
I'm gonna be really pretty.

Scott, after so many years of shooting weddings, I have seen every tux you can name.
For me, only one look to go with.
Get a traditional double breasted, black tux, with black bow tie, with white shirt and black studs.
Traditional James Bond type look and you can wear a double breasted well based on your weight, the last time I saw you.
Nothing classier than that look.

While the Mr. Peanut look, and whatever Carlos said are totally awesome ideas, I went with the Tuxedo 400.
I picked it because it's the very first one I saw when we went in the store, and Frank designed it. I got a purple vest and tie, it looks totally pimp.
While I was there I had Frank give me the 30 second tour of the factory. I now know what 30,000 jackets look like. Add all the other ****, and I was pretty overwhelmed.
Frank also has a Shelby GT 350 in the front window. His Dad is/was buds with Carrol Shelby, he has #2. It's gorgeous. I wish I had time to get pics.

Lisa is at the gown place right now. I'm typing while she gets her gown. Then back over to Frank's tomorrow morning for alterations (if she finds something that suits her), then to the airport after lunch to pick up the pirate that's marrying us.

More importantly, I'm gonna get some donuts when we get outta here. I forgot to eat yesterday, and so far today I haven't had anything either. I can't think of anything more perfect than donuts, I'm freakin starved.

The lady at the gown store, her name is Piña. Her daughter, who also works there, Colada. Really. No donuts yet, either.
The dress and shoes are picked and ready to go. Gorgeous. :tu

Miss America is off having her dress altered. The clock is ticking. :)
Oddly enough, we're both all done with wedding nerves now. Makes me wonder if I'll get all nerves up on wedding day.

I'm jealous of the Shelby. The 350 and 500 are in my top 10 favorite 'Stangs. He should let you take it out for a spin as a wedding gift....
