Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. Beth and I had a good weekend overall, got a lot done around the house and we enjoyed hitting a couple of breweries in the area as well. Congrats to the Hendrick's Racing Team for finishing all four cars 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th positions. The Yankees took 2 out of 3 games this weekend, it would have been a sweep but they gave up the lead yesterday after being up 4 runs. They'll be taking on the Rangers in Texas tonight starting at 2005 (8:05 pm), lets go fellas, you got this. Anyway, enjoy your week everyone, it's going to be busy here at West Point as the Class of 2021 graduates this Saturday........ 🇺🇲

Today is the Graduation Parade for the Seniors in preparation of tomorrow's ceremony. It's going to be a long 2 days but well worth it for everyone. The Aroma Cigar Room was hoppin' this past Thursday and to answer your question about Schlesinger's: Neil is in the process of selling it to a couple from NYC but is keeping 1% ownership so they can keep it a cigar bar / restaurant / store. He's in his 70s and his three adult children have no interest in the place. Hopefully the new owners bring the place back to life and all...... :tu

We watched the 2nd game at the cigar shop while enjoying fine cigars and all. Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0410 and it's back to work Tuesday (only 2 days of work this week as Beth and I are flying to Deadwood, SD Thursday morning). We had a good weekend overall even with a couple of days of rain which was well needed. The Yankees lost four in a row, lets go fellas and turn this around. Kyle Larsen took the checkered flag in Sunday's NASCAR race and won us $100 in the pool at the American Legion. Yesterday, we facilitated the Wreath Laying Ceremony at West Point and then came home and grilled a rack of ribs low and slow that came out great. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it’s looking like we’ll have another nice day here in the Black Hills of SD. We’ve had three great days so far, visited Sturgis, Deadwood and Spearhead. Stopped in the Deadwood Cigar Company and a number of breweries in the area. Today we’re heading to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We still have a good two days to sightsee and spend time with family before heading back to NY. Enjoy everyone....... 😎

Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and we are back in NY. We had a great 5 day vacation in South Dakota / Wyoming and actually made it to Devils Tower (location where the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind was filmed). Taking today off to unwind and recover as well as get some shopping done and a few others things. Hope everyone has a relaxing Hump Day and smoke a favorite or two or....... :)

We had a good time at Aroma last night, it's was good to see my brothers and hang out for a couple of hours smoking and joking. We had a great weekend overall, enjoy a number of top shelf cigars throughout; spent Saturday at the Aroma Cigar Room with the fellas; celebrated a 50th birthday for one of our nieces at a great party spot; and then yesterday Beth and I relaxed at the house for Sunday Funday finishing off the weekend with a tasty shrimp boil. Heading to work in a few minutes as West Point has a training event simulating wild fires on the mountain and displacing families in preparation in case this ever happens in the housing area. For those of you that are wondering, we have been going to Aroma now for a good 6 months. They are very supportive and will be at this year's Quad State Herf handing out cigars under to same 10' x 20' tent with Francisco Almonte (owner of DBL Cigars) who will be rolling cigars as well. Schlesinger's was our go to spot for for the last 15+ years and we needed a change. They have recently sold and the new owners are making changes. Anyway, it was good to see the Yankees win again last night with a 3 - 2 victory over the Blue Jays. These two teams will meet again tonight and hopefully the Bombers can do a three-peat. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a great three day weekend starting with Friday as the President gave all Federal Employees off for Juneteenth. We had my office over for a BBQ all day and roughly 15 friends ended up coming over to spend the day. Saturday, I headed down to Philadelphia to attend the "Gathering of Heroes" with five Medal of Honorees. It's an annual fundraiser for the Philadelphia Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Then yesterday, Beth and I relaxed out back taking it easy for a day. Congrats to the Yankees for a good weekend and to Kyle Larsen for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. Saturday, a number of us went to the Palaia Winery and saw a really good 60s - 70s easy listening band, Hurley Mountain Highway. We sang, danced and enjoy a great day in the sun and got a little rain which was actually comforting. Sports wise, the Yankees got swept by the Red Sox in Boston. Tough loss last night for the Yankees as they gave up 7 runs in the 9th inning to the Angels with a final score of 11 - 8. Chapman had no control on his fast ball and gave up the grand slam which started the devastating loss. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! As a result of the inclement weather in the Northeast, the Yankees / Angels game yesterday got rescheduled to a later date in August. This weekend, we'll have a subway series with the Mets which is always a good one. Last night was a good time at Aroma as the regular crowd was out enjoying top shelf cigars and all. They take on the Astros this weekend before the All-Star break, hopefully it's a good weekend for them. The NASCAR racers are in two locations this weekend with the truck racers tonight in Knoxville, KY; and then tomorrow and Sunday, the Xfinity and Cup Series racers will be in Atlanta, GA. Good morning everyone, the coffee on and once again, it's back to work Monday. We had a great weekend over all: Friday, Beth and I relaxed at home enjoying a nice dinner and a few cold ones; Saturday, we did a mini winery tour (3 wineries and a cidery) with a couple of friends in the Hudson Valley. Yesterday, I did some yard work in the morning and then sat back for the rest of day with a nice cigar and a few cold ones and barbecued some wings. The Yankees could have swept this weekend, they blew a 7 - 2 lead going into the 9th yesterday ending up loosing 8 - 7. Congrats to Kurt Busch for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race, always nice to see an older racer win one now and then. Good morning everyone, the espresso coffee is on and happy Friday. Took the day off to go down to Delaware and spend the weekend with Jeremy, our daughter-in-law Christen and our two granddaughters. We had a great time last night at Aroma, unfortunately the Yankees game was cancelled due to COVID protocols. Hopefully everyone on the team is doing well and we get the games in this weekend.
