Holy crap did anyone watch the Strikeforce card last night?

Only 3 things are certain in this life. Death, Taxes, Rousey by arm bar.

She is the Judo girl right? I saw here on TUF a while back.
She seems to be a pretty serious fighter.

Yep, the Olympic judo turned MMA fighter. Undefeated, with all wins coming by submission (armbar to be exact). Hell, one of her wins was by flying armbar.

Only 3 things in life are certain: Death, Taxes, and Rousey by armbar :tu

It seems 77 pages is all we're going to get for MMA lol.

Anyone excited for the GSP vs Condit fight coming up? I'm actually looking forward to the Bendo vs Diaz fight more :tu

I think that GSP will do more countering with Condit. And I think that Condit knows this, so it will probably be a boring fight.

I hope that Bendo knocks Diaz's head off.

If the GSP/Condit fight were happening in 2011 I would tend to agree with you. However, I believe that GSP will be more aggressive than we've seen in a long time due to his extended layoff from MMA. I think he will want to make a statement when he returns to the scene. The Kampman/Hendricks fight should also be a barn burner.

The Franklin vs Le fight doesn't interest me that much. I can't see it being anything more than a restyling of Le vs Shamrock. However, the Gomi vs Danzig fight should be really entertaining. As far as Bendo goes, I could not agree more! Diaz is a b1tch and I'll be happy to watch Henderson take him down and beat the hell out of him.

I've been an intermittent fan of MMA and wasn't really familiar with Rousey's exploits. Spent an hour or so watching Youtube replays of her fight...some of those armbars looked career ending. Holy crap...you could almost hear that capsule pop. If she works on her standup a bit, she'd be unstoppable...not that she's really stoppable now. I guess, MORE unstoppable.

I think GSP will coast to a decision win, announce his retirement and then start coaching and promoting Rory MacDonald. Who by all regards is a scary young man.

GSP is going to fight Silva IF he can get past Condut. He has worked too hard to retire. I believe he will move to 185 though so Rory can advance in the welterweight division.

Rousey is a beast. She is very very good. Hopefully they can get Cyborg to move down to 135 and fight her. There is no one else close to challenging her.

Can't wait for the Diaz/ Hendo fight as well as watching Chael Sonnen get under Bones Jones skin for 16 weeks on TUF.

Yeah her armbars are pretty nasty! The flying armbar win over Sara D'Alelio was nothing short of amazing! I cannot wait to see if she will develop as an overall fighter or if her one area of expertise is enough to keep her on top in a shallow women's division.

LOL. I sincerely hope he does not do that. I believe GSP still a lot of good fighting years left and I would love to see him take on some other challengers.

See to me the GSP/Silva fight isn't that big of a draw. We are going to see two guys dodge and feint around each other for 2 whole rounds before they really start doing anything. I see it as a fairly boring fight and then BANG its over.

Randy Couture said yesterday that he thinks Sonnen has what it takes to beat Jones. What is he smoking? And where can we buy a box? LOL

We can't go a year and a half without talking about MMA. That's just plain wrong ;)

Anybody watch UFC 172 this weekend? Some really great fights!! The Texeira/Jones fight was really fascinating to watch. I was pulling for Glover but thought that he was too slow to really give Jones a hard fight. Turns out I was right. Though I give Glover props for taking some crazy shots that would have dropped lesser fighters.

The Gomi/Ville Flag fight was so much fun to watch!

Maybe I'm the only one watching Bellator tonight. Maybe?

Waiting to see if Warren gets his ass kicked.
