Re: First Firearm Thread.
Trijicons should be required on all guns. Nice! :gn

Very nice! I have always wanted a .308, but there are only 25yd indoor ranges near me.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Decided to learn how to build my own AK's this year. Here are my first two attempts. It is challenging to keep both 922r compliant and ban compliant (NY kept the failed federal ban as a state ban), but enough US parts and pre-ban mags are available.
http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/IMG_0066.jpg This here is a Hungarian AMD-65 on a NODAK Spud NDS-3 receiver. Since the folding stock an AMD-65 comes with is illegal here in NY, I opted for a US made stock. So for those of you interested, the compliance parts are the trigger, hammer, sear, buttstock, pistol grip and receiver. the barrel is a converted Romanian. http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/IMG_0068.jpg Just finished this today. Bulgarian AK-74 on a NODAK Spud NDS-2 receiver. It turned out rather nicely, I think. Compliance parts for this one are trigger, hammer, sear, barrel, receiver, and pistol grip. Next up is an Egyptian Maadi. |

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I finally got around to building my AR15.com lower and the rifle is now complete, minus the optic. I want to throw some CLP on it and then I will post pics soon. :gn

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Hey Greg is there any version of THIS we can have in CA?
Ammo prices are great, do you know much about this round? I spent some time poking around online and it looks like the 5.45x39 ballistics are very similar to the 5.56. What do you or others know? I love my AR in 5.56 but it a little expensive to run these days. |
