Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Beth and I got everything done around the house as planned plus more. Smoked a number of my favorite cigars and paired them with local beers which were spot on. Today I'm heading to the office to catch up for the week and then get ready for the weekend where 8 of us are heading to Pomona, NY in the morning:

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, the usual crowd was hanging out and all. This weekend, the NASCAR drivers are in Talladega, AL which is the largest track on the circuit (2.66 miles around):

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's back to Monday already. Beth and I had a good yesterday driving around the country side and hitting a couple of breweries as well. Congrats to the Army football team with a win and a final score of 55 - 23. Also a big congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on their comeback win last night over the 49ers. Lastly, congrats to Denny Hamlin for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. Tonight, the Yankees will be down in Tampa Bay kicking off the ALDS starting at 2005 (8:05 pm). The bats were hot again but the pitching was off a bit. Hopefully the Yanks put up a "W" tonight as they'll be back at it starting at 1905 (7:05 pm). Army won over the Citadel 13 - 9 on Saturday; our sponsored West Point Cadet and his girl friend as well as his mom and dad spent the day at our home on Sunday; and it rained all day yesterday. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! I have a short day in the office this morning as they are delivering the gazebo today between 1100 and 1400 (11 am and 2 pm). We had a great time at Schlesinger's last night as we got to see a few of our ole' friends that have been away for a while. Sports wise this weekend, the MLB playoffs continue, the NASCAR drivers are in Kansas and Sunday we'll have NFL all day starting at 1300 (1 pm). I hope you all get to enjoy this weekend and relax as well....... :D

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great weekend overall, the rain on Friday delayed the delivery of the gazebo until Saturday morning. We had a super time Saturday afternoon / evening with friends over from work enjoying German and Hungarian foods, drinks and cigars. Yesterday was a relaxing day out back smoking cigars and all. Congrats to Joey Logano on taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and being one of the final four in the championship race which is in 3 weeks. The Eagles almost came back to win yesterdays match up against the Ravens losing 30 - 28. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys...... :tu

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's already "Hump Day". I got half the yard work done yesterday as I cut/miter sawed all the base board finish cuts done on the gazebo. All I have to do is pre-drill them this evening and set them in place. I used a PVC trim board from Lowe's versus wood for a longer lasting and rot free finish:

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's Thursday which means we'll be at Schlesinger's Hudson Valley Cigars this evening. I got the base of the gazebo all buttoned up and sealed from the elements and especially from the local varmints, i.e., ground hogs, skunks, etc. The gazebo sits on a foot of packed gravel but I didn't want anything to nest under it for the winter season. This evening, the Eagles take on the Giants which should be a good one. Anyway, hope to see some of the local S/BOTL and enjoy....... :ss

Good morning all, the coffee is on as usual and it's Friday! We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, more and more folks were last night as the temps continue to drop in the area. I know today will be a busy one getting ready for tomorrow's football game at West Point with Army taking on Georgia Southern. It's a 1200 (12 o'clock) kick off which means we'll have the EOC up and running by 0700 (7 am). Tonight, a few of us are going out for restaurant week as we picked The North Plank Tavern this time:

I've got to head into West Point shortly for a day of meetings and activities as we are now two weeks away from the Army / Navy game. We've been planning this now since early October when the announcement came out that the game will be played here at West Point rather than in Philadelphia (the city of Philly said no fans allowed to include West Point Cadets or Navy Midshipman). It's going to take 175 buses to bring the Midshipman up from Annapolis to West Point in convoys of 50 buses per. Once they arrive, all the fun begins from unloading the Middies to parking the buses and prepping them for return. We have to feed them on arrival and have box meals for their return home as well. Everyone thinks it's all fun and games until the logistics of it all comes into play. Anyway, enjoy the weekend everyone and smoke a favorite or two if you get the chance...... :ss
