It was fast paced and visually stimulating but I enjoyed the first two movies more. I think the plot is a little thin. I did not see it in 3D. I have no doubt it would be better in 3D.:llp

Suicide Squad - I give it a 7 out of 10. The film has some issues, but it's not terrible. Glad I got to see it.

I took the wife to see it yesterday. And yeah, it's better than a lot of the reviews; not a classic by any measurement but still entertaining.

The Last Waltz...buddy of mine talked it up quite a bit. He sent me a dvd of it. Wasn't bad.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
It's been out for a couple of years but I'd only heard of it recently. It's a comedy of errors where a couple of hillbillies are mistaken for psycho killers through a series of misunderstandings. It's the best horror/comedy since Shaun of the Dead, IMNSHO. If you like horror and like to laugh, I highly recommend it. It's on Amazon Prime for free and Netflix, also.

The Girl on the Train -- pretty good movie. This is not the cutsie Emily Blunt that you might be used to -- a great performance as lost alcoholic.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back -- both my wife and I enjoyed this. Cruise does okay as reacher as long as you forget about him not being 6' 5" :)

Nope... they just get shorter people in the cast to make him look taller :)

I saw just Hacksaw Ridge :tu :tu -- excellent movie, but the battle scenes are intense (too much for my wife to handle -- like the beach landing in Saving Private Ryan)

Children of Men. It'd been a few years since I'd seen it. I'm still blown away by some of the shots in it, such as "The Car Scene" (unnecessary Spoiler Alert!). It takes some huevos to envision such a long one-take scene, and some serious skill to pull it off.
