Nice of the Yankees to put out their B team today, and still being 90 feet away from tying the game. Thanks again Joey. :tu

Chapman has pitched once on no rest, gave up a run, and got bailed out by the defense when he loaded the bases. I don't think he can pitch everyday. :sh

4-3 on this road trip. Only one game back at this point. St. Louis is starting to have trouble. We could be only 1/2 a game back after tonight.

Now when can the Reds sign Superman to a contract?

I know the Yankees are struggling a little this year, but I didn't think the Reds had it in them to win the series.

Berkman out for the season. Sounds like good news at first for us, but then if we win, I'd rather win against a team performing at their best rather than a team missing one of its top hitters.

With the depleted Brewers and Cardinals at the start of the season, I thought the Reds could run away with the division, but they haven't been up to the challenge yet. Maybe every other team getting even weaker will be what the Reds need to figure it out.

The offense is slowly waking up. We could still be a player this year, but we've still got a long ways to go to be playoff worthy. One more decent bat in the lineup via trade and we could get it done. The question is, what would we have to give up for that bat? We have nothing in the minors worth crap this year.

We have some under-achieving outfielders in the Big Show. ;)

Therefore we won't get much for them in any sort of trade.

The speeding, meh, everyone has done it hurrying home from a late night party a 100 miles away from home. The suspended license? Maybe in Cuba they just force you to renew it by lowering your wages. How about the 18 million dollar lawsuit brought against him by a woman in Miami? What is this guy up to?

As for the $18 million lawsuit, I think he has nothing to worry about.

I don't think he has to worry. Seems all very unprovable.

I feel bad for Moyer. Latos got a lot of praise on the radio, but if it weren't for the seven runs we scored, he would have never pitched after the fifth inning. I'm still not buying the "he's going to be our future ace" line.

Don't you listen to Cincinnati media? Latos is the future ace, Stubbs is the best CF in the MLB, Bruce is a future MVP, Chapman is the next Eckersley.........;s

Moyer is like 63 years old. When are the Reds going to face a decent pitcher? They are doing a great job of beating bad pitchers, but this doesn't bode well if they win this weak division. :sh

They were successful in NY and ATL against good pitching.

If Dusty didn't put up that horseshit lineup today on Memorial Day, we could be beating McDonald right now.

You never watch a game on FSNOhio? My wife laughs when they make claims like that about Stubbs. Granted, I am just paraphrasing, but I have heard:

"He has the best range in CF in the MLB"
"He might be the fastest CF in the NL"
"Thats Gold Glove defense right there" on routine plays.

:hm

I am not sure when Dusty comes up with lineups like he threw out there today. Its almost like he puts names in a hat sometimes. Seriously, lets take a guy who is 1-11 in his last 3 games and throw him in the leadoff

Those comments are talking about range, and speed. They never say, "He is the best CF in baseball", because he is not due to his hitting or lack thereof

Defensively, they have certainly made assertions comparable to blatantly saying that he is the best defensive outfielder in baseball. Luckily the past two seasons they have backed off the Rickey comparisons as the best leadoff hitter in baseball, because clearly the guy cannot get on base. His below .300 OBP and Dusty still has him an 1 or 2? :td

Oh and the Bleacher Report had him as 'Poised to be a 'Breakout Player' prior to the 2011 and 2012 season. Whoopsies :bh
