Just finished the last book in the Percy Jackson Series...

Currently reading The Alchemyst by Michael Scott...It has something to do with the Harry Potter Series in terms of magic but based off of Nicholas Flamel's life.

Carved in Bone by Jefferson Bass. It has a pseudo CSI/NCIS feel to it, but I'm not absolutely riveted by it yet (although I'm only 80 pages in).

Louis L'Amour's "How the West was Won," a good read.

Charcuterie - Michael Ruhlman.

I have a pork belly that is curing for a few more days to become bacon. Debating what I will do next. Maybe some sauerkraut to be ready for the tailgating season.

I finished Decision Points by George W. Bush last night. I really enjoyed it. It told us why he made the decisions he did.

I just downloaded on my nook: Under and Alone: The True Story of the Undercover Agent Who Infiltrated America's Most Violent Outlaw Motorcycle Gang

So far, it is great and I can hardly put it down.

Louis L'Amour "The Haunted Mesa" takes place in modern times instead of his normal old west. Interesting.

I "like" to spend at least an hour, every evening, with a book and a cigar, in a quiet place. Weather I get to do it or not, well, that is another story. And I spend plenty of time on the inter-net. That is no excuse.

Just finished Cryoburn, a sci-fi story continuing the sage of Miles Versoghian, by Lois M Bujold. A good read, especially if you enjoy space operas.

Also recently finished Catacombs by Anne Mcaffery and Elizabeth Moon Scarborough. Sadly this does not live up to these authors prior works. Story moves along very herky jerky like and the character development which has always been a Mcaffery strongpoint is strangly weak.

I finished this book today. It was incredibly good. I highly recommend it. Reminded me a lot of Sons of Anarchy.
