Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. Another incredible Army / Navy game weekend in Philly. Started off with having the honor of enjoying lunch at a local cheese steak place, Campos; with Medal of Honor recipient Mike Thornton and his beautiful bride Rainey, Highway Patrol police inspector Tony Boyle, a couple of retired Highway Patrolmen and my buddy Bill Latta. Later on, we went to the Twins Cigar Shoppe in South Philly and enjoyed top shelf stogies. Game day was outstanding with Army winning and it was a whos who all day long. Yesterday after getting home, Beth and I went out and supported a great local Cause at the Newburgh Brewery which is always a highlight of the weekend. We had a nice, relaxing evening at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar, a number of the regulars were there and a few of my friends we haven't see in a while. We had a good time last night, Ian and Ronnie came over and we had the fire pit going with drinks, laughs and of course primo cigars to boot. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's 1 week until Christmas. Got a couple of small things still to pick up which I'll do today and hopefully be done. Pretty quiet at the office, the Cadets here at West Point are getting ready to head home for the holidays. We have our annual Christmas party this Friday at a local restaurant and then a few of us will head over to Schlesinger's to smoke a cigar or two. Spent the day relaxing watching the Christmas Story and then went over to Beth's sisters house for dinner as well as watching the Die Hard marathon. We got to see our ole' friends Bob & Bette as well as all of us went out to Stewart's Brewing Company in Bear, DE for a couple of cold ones and some tasty foods.

Beth and I watched a number of Bowl Games and I even took down the outside lights. Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and we're home from our week in the Keys. Beth and I had a blast as always in Key West spending time with our nephew Gary who manages Jack Flats on Duval St. Ate a lot of fresh seafood, enjoyed a lot of cold beers, had a great time sailing on a 92' wooden sail boat, spent the day at Fort Jefferson, and of course smoked numerous tasty cigars. Hated to come back to NY in this cold weather but we'll be back down in Florida in 30 days for a week in the sun and going to the Great Smoke in West Palm Beach. Sports wise, we'll be rooting on the Eagles this afternoon and hopefully they advance in the NFL playoffs. Enjoy everyone....... :D

Good morning everyone, the espresso coffee is on and it's freezing rain out as we speak. We got 4 to 5 inches of snow last night and now there's a good layer of rain on top of it. Shortly, I'm going out with the snowblower to clear the driveway and walks. Later on, we'll be watching both NFL Playoff games and hopefully it'll be the Chiefs against the Saints in the Superbowl as I predicted in week 4. Enjoy all and be safe out there....... :banger

We had a good weekend with family and friends yesterday as well as Saturday getting ready for a big Jack & Jill baby shower for one of our nieces. Over 100 guests showed up at the American Legion Hall in New Windsor, NY, the food was fantastic and the love was shared by all. Weather wise this week in the Hudson Valley, I see that we're suppose to get a couple of snow falls along with cold temps. Not much on our plate as far as tomorrow goes, probably head over to Hudson Valley Cigars and hang out with the fellas and smoke a couple. Sunday, Beth and I will be heading over to the New Windsor American Legion for a pot luck (she's making a pulled pork) afternoon. They're hosting the Superbowl with raffles, 50/50, drink specials and we already have our squares (fingers crossed we get good numbers). Hopefully it's a good game and the Rams win over the Patriots. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's looking like we'll have another beautiful day here in the Hudson Valley. According to NOAA, we should hit the low 60's and sunny again. Fired up the grill yesterday and threw on a nice London Broil along with a couple of baked potatoes and a tin of broccoli. Tonight after work, planning on barbecuing country ribs along with grilled cauliflower. We can hardly wait until Spring is here for good as Beth and I grill almost everyday. The NASCAR drivers are arriving in Daytona today for Speedweek and the build up to next weekend's Daytona 500.
