Re: What beers are you enjoying II?
Here's a few that we've had over the last couple weeks. I've been very pleased with them all. And having the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut again last night solidified that I like it.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?
Had this last night. One of my friends has drank this religiously for over a decade. I'd never tried it. Yesterday was his 40th birthday, so I picked up a sixer of tall boys to give it a shot. It reminded me of my first taste of beer when I was a kid. It tasted like beer my dad used to drink, so in that respect, I kinda like it. :D

It's been a bit since I had the Vertical Epic, but I do remember that I enjoyed it. I don't recall the spice being very heavy in it. It was more of an undertone that supported the beer, but didn't totally carry it. To me, it wasn't a "hot" spice, but a flavor opening one. Seemed more like cinnamon or cardimum to me. If you're looking for a beer that has a spicy kick, then I'd suggest New Belgium Cocoa Mole...that has a bit more of a kick to the spice in it, and goes well with something like burritos or tacos and such. Thanks for the words on those beers. Sounds like they are worth trying.
The stout sounds good too. I have been loving stouts for awhile now. |
