Drinking a PBR now. Not bad, but not good. Just wet, cold, with a slight bite. Good for camping or fishing, but otherwise reminds me of why I prefer craft beers.

Add this to the list of Beers to try!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddr...roof-beer.html

And this one

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/m...g_1687711c.jpg

Yes that is a real beer....bottled, then packaged in assorted small animals.

Article is here... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...d-animals.html

Apparently, the "animal" beer is 55% alcohol....the new one beat it by 15%... Whew...rough stuff

Is this in bottles, or do you have to make a trip to the brewery?

Last night I sat out back with a Duck Rabbit Milk Stout and a Benchmade Toro. They made a great pairing. My wife hates beer and last weekend when I enjoyed a couple she commented on how good it smelled.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

I've been enjoying Fat Tire, Grain Belt Nordeast (KILLER beer. But HARD to find. Grain Belt finally made a beer everyone wanted, and can't keep up with the demand), Guinness Extra Stout, and Bass. But these are rare occasions.

My favorite beer right now to enjoy is Heineken 12 pack bottles. It has to be the twelve pack, since the beer doesn't get light-struck.

For everyday beer, it's Coors, Bud, or even Miller High Life.

I love the DR Milk Stout :tu

I went by the brewery last week while I was visiting family in Farmville. I had emailed the owner and he invited me over for a impromptu tour. Its a small operation but I really enjoyed seeing it all being brewed. He has plans for a tasting room to be operational by the end of the year.

Great IPA, it is often rated very high on Beer Advocate. Only thing is that it is tough to find and it comes out at weird intervals.

My AMAZING Extra Stout. Best beer I have brewed to date. The first scored a 43/50 from a certified judge, and this one is even better. Awesome stuff. Oh, on nitro too :D

Had Cigar City's Guava Grove, and the Saison du Buff from DFH,Victory,Stone.
Both interesting beers, the Saison du Buff had a huge herbal aroma from the parsley, sage, rosemary, and tyme. Guava Grove had a great Guava flavor initially, but seemed to fade as the beer warmed up and became a little 'flabby' for lack of a better term. Anyway, both excellent unique beers.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

Yous guys need to find RATEBEER. there is probably a much better beer than that illusive Goose Island Coffee Stout. In fact a quick search provides you are wasting your time with a not even mediocre beer.

Hunt you down some bells, dog fish head, stone's, alesmith and founders imperial stouts they are MUCH MUCH better.

Even Goose Island bourbon stout is MUCH MUCH better than the regular. In fact their only good beers appear to be bourbon stouts.

I have had Bells, Founders, Dog Fish....I like Goose Island Coffee Stout better.

I have been on ratebeer numerous times. I trust my tastebuds for what I like better than a website.

You are entitled to your opinion...but that is just what it is, an opinion. I'll waste my time with Goose Island Coffee Stout and enjoy that waste of time very much, thanks.

I do like wasting my time with my mediocre beer. :D

In my opinion Bells is decent, dogfish head is very good, stone sucks, never had alesmith that I can remember.

Even Goose Island bourbon stout is MUCH MUCH better than the regular. In fact their only good beers appear to be bourbon stouts. Are you referring to Goose Island Bourbon County Stout? Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee Stout is damn near the same as GIBCS just with Intelligentsia Black Cat espresso added. Again it wasn't a hunt or quest considering 4 liquor stores around me all had it. :tu

Don't worry, I won't tell you your ever wasting time with your mediocre beer or cigars.

So a score of 100 overall / 98 peer is mediocre?
