Re: What beers are you enjoying II? Sat night i went to Brewology at the Buffalo Science Museum. It was pretty sweet. Alot of beers to taste and seminars on home brewing. Last night we did a side by side tasting of Southern Tiers Backburner Barleywine and their Barrel aged Backburner Barleywine. Its amazing what a few months in a bourbon barrel will do to the flavor. The carmel and vanilla made for a fantastic beer. :dr Wish they bottled it. |

Re: What beers are you enjoying II? On Saturday my wife and I went to Stoudts Brewery in PA for their spring Microfest. 17 breweries were there and we spent four hours sampling all the brews. If you get a chance to attend one of these(they do three each year) it's a blast. $35 for four hours with food and a band. Also you can smoke cigars there also. |
