New coffee! Ethiopia Sidama:cf1 Deri Kochoha Roasted 15 hours ago to just FC, drip, Silk. Not your typical Ethiopian, tea, lemon acidity, dk chocolate, floral notes. A really nice cup. About time I got around to this one, I've had it since mid Dec :jd

I impulse bought a Breville Smart Grinder, because the price was too good to pass up (119.99). Sent the gf to Caribou to pick up a pound of beans (just let her pick, since I don't drink as much coffee as she does). But she decided to get Starbucks instead. Not a fan of any Starbucks product, but the grinder did an excellent job.

I have been roasting the Sweet Blue a hair further and it made all the difference in the espresso machine. I am drinking this bean everyday right now. Just ordered 10 more pounds and a couple pounds of Guat Decaf.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Chelbessa from the press. Unsure of the roast level. Delicious.

Thanks, ironcheffscott. This is the first one I've tried. REALLY like it. :tu

It was from stumptown. Most likely a lighter roast.

I love the grinder, but for my use, it does a less than desirable job for getting it coarse enough for cold brewing. The grounds are still just a bit too fine that it really plugs up the filter. It does great for the french press.

One of these days I'll get it dialed in on the grind needed for my Nespresso and Keurigs to use it for something other than the most coarse setting.

Picked up this grinder on Craigslist today for $125. Can't wait to French press it and use it for my Toddy once again. https://imageshack.com/a/img12/5548/j17k.jpg
