$50 is actually about $15 or so less than MSRP. That's pretty impressive. The Rip 20 is some good stuff, but the 15 is also good, and like Heat said, cheaper.

What other bottles of the AC did they have?

Pass on the Pappy Van Winle 20. $100 isn't that great of a price and you are better off buying the Pappy 15 year. The 20 is over-oaked (to long in the barrel) in my opinion. Just my :2

Thanks, they said they were out of the pvw 15, but had the.... 12?

I'll probably pick up the other buffalo trace's tomorrow. :D

When I was there they had 2 bottles of stagg, 3 bottles of one that was a rye, and 3 bottles of another one I don't remember. I picked up one of the stagg's.

Thanks for the input guys!

Thinking heavily about swinging by tomorrow and picking up the other two kinds.

I paid $50 bucks for mine. Is that about right?

They had the RVW 20 year for $100. didn't get that though

$50 is a great price for the Stagg. I've never seen it under $75 a bottle and it is often over $100. At that price its pry worth buying all that they have. Either drink em yourself, or give em away as gifts. I'm sure most on here will agree, a fine bottle of bourbon makes a great present.

I happen to like the standard 80 proof Four Roses, from time to time. For me, it's a very light whiskey or Bourbon, that's far too easy to drink! It offers distinct nuances of honey and a consistent light spiciness. It's very drinkable! The Four Roses Single Barrel 86 proof and the 15yo 104 proof Barrel Strength are much different!

Four Roses is good stuff. What did you order? Their single barrel is top notch for about $30. I absolutely love their latest LE which is the Mariage. A phenomenal bourbon. The 120th didn't do much for me, going to crack open my 40th here soon and see how that is.

You will get a lot of cinnamon and spice with Four Roses, more cinnamon than almost any other bourbon. It's almost like a dessert drink. Very good.

Guys, I'm bringing Kentucky Vintage back up. They actually have some higher end bottles though this does the trick. Along with all the flavors we like to talk about, you can actually taste the recipe of this bourbon. Two other guy that were over for poker took a liking to the Ky Vin, too. Goes down easy and not bad on the wallet as well.

I have, I have! I like it, it's similar to Woodford, but a little edgier

Which is very interesting because my store told me there was no '07 to be had and then one shows up.
