Its IPSD today:noon

61* on the patio this morning, birds rummaging around for items to build their nest, hummingbirds sipping from both feeders, and stuffed two flakes of Rotory Luxury Navy Cut into the Charatans Make Perfection 481oc, with a cup of Trader Joe's House blend on the side:cf1

...and a special thank you to Tim (DrDubzz) for sending me a 2009 tin of Rotory!

Re: Whats in your bowl?

last night I tried Gauntleys Of Nottingham - Celtic Twilight again. I'm still finding it odd that a lat blend has so much floral note to it. I assumed this was the lakeland aroma I've read so much on, but was told by the Brother that gifted it that it wasn't lakelend. On the fence but leaning away from this as much as I want to like it. Hard flake (cut from a pressed brownie it seems), it's a moist baccy even after sitting in a jar for a year. not a bad smoke by any stretch, just a challenge. happy pipe day ya lunatics.

Maybe it has an effect on your brain regarding "recall" if you smoke too much of the blend;)

Feb not the best time - snow banks are 5 ft high and the sidewalks are ice-rinks. But yep - pretty town. Lots of young people around because of Dalhousie. Downtown is actually alive too - which is nice to see.

The snow is pretty high here, too. Halifax is a great place for sea food; awesome scallops!

Drew Estate Central Park Stroll in a Peterson Morta. Not a happy pipe afterward - gunked up with a blue tinged paste. Err....... I gave it a solid scrub and will find a less favored pipe for untried aros next time.

Anyway - low on flavour, big on aroma - esp chocolate. Not unpleasant, but I'm not sure the syrupy stuff appeals to me.

So here's a step by step by step on Stimulus Package.

Turns out this is a meaty full house Latakia blend. Tons of delicious flavour - think old fashioned pot roast with gravy. Fantastic meaty savoury bowl. In the Tsuge it proved a handful of vitamin N as well! Get some.
