Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and as of now, the snow has yet to start. According to NOAA, we're suppose to get 3 to 5 inches during the day with high winds. I'll be going into work at West Point shortly to watch the progress in the EOC. Enjoy and definitely be safe out there....... :)

Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's Friday! Well, we never made it to work as they closed West Point as a result of the blizzard. We have a "Code - Red" until 0930 with a Adverse Weather Conference Call this morning at 0630 for any updates. The snow has stopped but the winds are really crazy. After doing some errands yesterday and then stopping by the cigar shop for a bit, Beth and I stayed in and watched some a couple of good NFL playoff games. Today, we'll do the same and hopefully the games will be just as exciting. Congrats to the NY Rangers for winning yesterday in a shootout 2 - 1 against the Arizona Coyotes. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday (even though it's only 1 day as I'm flying down to Nicaragua - Cigar Safari in the morning). After work today, I'll be heading over to the Newark Airport where I'll be checking into the hotel for the night as I have to be there at 0400 in the morning. They actually have a good deal at most of the larger airports; park-sleep-fly. You spend the night (before your trip or afterwards or both), leave your car there and they will shuttle you back and forth to your terminal:

NFL wise yesterday, the first game wasn't bad but the 2nd one was exciting throughout. I see that the NY Rangers lost last night in Vegas, lets go fellas and put a few wins in a row. Good morning all, the Killer Beans coffee is on and it’s MLK Jr. Day. I got home yesterday from Nicaragua safe and sound, the trip was outstanding! Got to smoke a lot of top shelf stogies, eat superb foods and enjoy cold beers and drinks. Congrats to the Eagles in advancing to the NFC Championship game next week, way to go fellas. Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's back to work Tuesday. Had a sort of busy day yesterday, got my glasses repaired that the arm broke while in Nicaragua; stopped in a new Vietnamese restaurant to me in Wappingers Falls, NY and had a very tasty bowl of "Pho"; dropped of Beth's car for maintenance which they kept and gave me a loaner; met up with Sean from Big Guns BBQ and discussed this year's Quad State Herf; took down the remainder of outside Christmas lights. All in all, it was a good day and I'm ready to go back to work. I do see a little snow coming our way today into tomorrow. All together according to NOAA, it's looking like we'll get roughly 6" in total. Enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there...... :tu

Had a good day yesterday, stopped by the cigar shopped and smoke a couple of my favorites and then later on fired up the BBQ and grilled a nice pork loin for dinner. Unfortunately, the NY Rangers fell to the Colorado Avalanche 3 - 1. Hopefully the Philadelphia Eagles win today and get to play in the Superbowl which is in 2 week. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and the Eagles are going to the Superbowl. It's going to be a tough game for sure, the Patriots will also fight till the end. This morning, we have to go to work and sign the acknowledgement document that we fully understand that the Federal Government is on a shut-down. What a bunch of B.S., these day with electronics, couldn't they figure it out with an email or something. Anyway, I'll be off until they pass the budget and hopefully that'll be sooner than later. Beth and I had a relaxing day yesterday; after doing some grocery shopping we put on our comfy sweats and watched TV all afternoon and into the evening. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, unfortunately the NY Rangers got beat 4 - 0 though. We had a little snow fall last night, I'll be going out to clean up the drive and walk ways in a few before I head to West Point. This Sunday as we all know is the Superbowl, I faith in my Eagles team that they will win and be the 2018 Superbowl Champions. Enjoy everyone and be safe out there...... :D

I've been rooting for the Eagles since the Ron Jaworski days and they finally pulled it off, outstanding! Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a good day yesterday despite the rain and all. We got some grocery shopping done then headed to a new place we found on Facebook, the Gardiner Liquid Mercantile. It has local beers on tap and the food is very tasty. Afterwards, we got home just in time to catch the NASCAR race and then finished the evening watching the Olympics. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys. Beth and I went out last night and celebrated at one of our favorite places, the Canterbury Brook Inn right here in Cornwall. Very nice Austrian / German cuisine and a romantic atmosphere. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! Schlesinger's was packed last night, the Olympics were on and top shelf cigars were being smoked. NASCAR has officially started and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series NextEra Energy Resources 250 kicks off tonight at 1930 (7:30 pm). Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Daytona 500 Sunday. Beth and I stopped at one of our favorite wineries yesterday, the Brimstone Hill Vineyard & Winery. The are hosting a Valentines President's Weekend Wine & Chocolate event both yesterday and today from 1130 to 1730 (11:30 am to 5:30 pm). Excellent event for sure and their wines are top notch:

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's looking like we'll have record breaking temperatures today. Yesterday after work, we sat out and enjoyed cold beers and I smoke a well aged Joya de Nicaragua Machito as we barbecued inch and a half thick pork chops, sweet potatoes and asparagus. According to NOAA, they are saying that we'll hit 71 °F this afternoon, not bad for a February day in New York:

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Well, mother nature has kicked in and we are currently getting a heavy rain / snow mixture and the roads are covered. West Point is Code "Red" until 1200 (12 noon) with a re-look at 1000 (10am). If you have to drive in this stuff today, be safe and always watch out for the other drivers that aren't. Good morning all, the coffee is on and we are preparing for another major storm to hit the Hudson Valley. This time, NOAA is predicting up to 14"+ of snow according to the hourly chart they posted earlier this morning:

Good morning all, the coffee has been on for some time now and the 18"+ of the snow is finally cleared off of the drive and walkways.
