Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
Sorry, but have to review this considering it's $4.50 per can normal price point. And at that price, epic fail. One noted roastiness. Nice mouthfeel, good taste, but, again, one note. At that price point I can't help but compare it to the GI Nightstalker, and the Nightstalker is much, much better. |

I think I got enough.
Plus there a couple of spots I hit that are restocked now. :D Try to find the GI Bourbon Coffee Stout! Even smaller production and from I heard even better!! I'll have to crack a bottle open soon. |

It looks like the Bourbon County but with a red label instead of the black one.
If you can't find any let me know I think I can find a bottle somewhere. ;) |

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Drinking a Unibroue/Trader Joe's 2009 Vintage. I think this is my 3rd bottle, but I'm still not sure that I "get" this beer. It's got this raisin/plum thing going on, and also a lemon/citrus thing going on, and I'm not sure that the two types get along very well on my tongue. But I bought 6 bottles, so I hope I figure it out and enjoy at least one of them.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
I had a bottle of the new Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA last night. If you open this bottle thinking you're going to get something along the lines of Dogfish 60 min, Stone IPA, Racer 5, etc, etc you're going to be sorely dissapointed. This IPA is a little something different.
It's kind of a blend of the British and the American version of IPA. It's got European hops, British hops, and American hops which gives it a unique flavor among IPAs in America or really anywhere. Frankly, I think this beer could use a little more body and more malt sweetness, but overall I thought this was an enjoyable beer. |
Re: What beers are you enjoying?
It's getting warmer and while I love Stouts, Porters, etc.
When it's 90+ degrees outside it's hard to beat a Stella in my frozen Giants cup. |
Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Tried the Dogfish Head rasin beer which was pretty damn tasty!
Trying another Ale Asylum Bedlam which is a Trappist IPA. Enjoying this beer a lot. It's a smaller release and I think next week I might have to grab 2-3 six packs! |

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
I dont like really cold beer, does this mean Im odd?
More often than not I open and pour a beer then let it set for 10-15 mins. My dad regularly says " are you going to drink that or just stare at it?" |
Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Not odd at all, I do it with most beers out of the regular refridgerator.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
SN torpedo extra IPA - not a bad IPA at all, especially for a year round release, but it ain't all that outstanding either. I'm probably moving on after this 6'er.

My fridge is about 38*F. I typically pour into a glass, and sip on a beer slowly, to see how it changes from cold to cool (55*F or so). Some beers I will let warm up a little before I pour it. I got an Avery Maharajah tonight. Good stuff. |
