Also, mine does it too, and mine is as clean as a whistle.

Smash it and get a new one?

Nah, I can't afford to be on the blueface replacement plan. :r

It's still a great phone, but while it's the "best" iphone yet, it also has more of those little annoying problem than my others combined.

It's the sensor up near the earpiece that turns off the screen when you are talking on the phone. I have read this a huge problem, mine does it too. When it doesn't work right you are dialing numbers with your face.:td Hoping 4.2 makes it better.

never had this problem

I've had some issues with the proximity sensor as well in the past.
I haven't pressed any buttons by accident in a while, though. Maybe I've learned to hold it against my face better.

Re: iphone 4 just announced.

Ive had issues after a phone call and the screen stays black for a little while with the phone down. Then i can't hit end. I just shake the bastard every which way and were all good from there.

The big surprise was only iTunes related, so nothing to get overly excited about. I won't expect a Verizon announcement until January and a phone available until June.

Ok. So I hit mute today with my face while talking to my wife.
So I guess it is still an issue with me.

I just updated, but have not had a chance to look at the new features yet. Airprint is one of them though.

Airprint is a bust for me. Although I have an HP printer it isn't one of the ten that works with airprint.

If my understanding is right, I believe with Greenpois0n we can update without fear.

This is correct?
