That's actually very creative. What are the ingredients?

Thanks for this thread...Here I am on deployment and after reading this all I want is Sushi. That will be one of the first meals I have when I return back home. By the way that lobster roll does look interesting, I would also like to know whats in it.

So, earlier in the week I learned of an "all you can eat" place on the other side of town that you order anything/all you want of the menu for $19.99, including apps, salads, soups, and all the sushi they have to offer. Reviews on the place were quite good, so I checked it out last night. Here is what I ended up with and must say everything was delicious. It was a good deal because many of the rolls to choose from are the types of rolls you'd pay $10-15 each. I reckon these 2 plates could have cost at least $40 each virtually anywhere else.

Here is a sampling of last night's haul. It was good, but I wasn't happy they put cucumber on rolls that didn't list cucumber anywhere in the description. Otherwise, I would have had them 86 the nasty stuff.

I had something on a cruise once. It was tuna that I know. It appeared seared slightly and had some type of green "pine needle like" thing on top with black pepper corns. That was tasty. :sh

Are you coming to indy? The name of the place is sushi club and it's on the west side of Indy.

They have a website with a menu, but I found through some site other than google.

Cucumber adds a nice crisp fresh cruch, I love it!:noon
That looks like a great sampler, lots of variety and color!:tu

They have a website with a menu, but I found through some site other than google.

When you search the address it says its Asian Surf and Turf, which has a website that lists the same address. Although it appears that place is closed, so I am guessing it reopened as Sushi Club. :hm

Went to Sushi Club again last night with another couple. It's a 30 minute drive for both of us to get there and the other couple loves sushi. After dinner, they both felt it was one of the best places they'd ever been for sushi.

We polished off 12 specialty rolls, salads, and some apps between all of us last night. Great deal for $21.99/pp. :banger

This is just one of the spreads from last night.

I had to stop by my favorite place this afternoon as part of my mental health clinical post-conference unwind. :tu

All were great as always. This is the $19.99/$21.99 all you can eat made to order sushi roll place. The $21.99 price is on weekends and expands another 10 or so rolls not offered during the week. They allowed me to sample them tonight at the $21.99 price.

On the plate with 2 rolls, the one on the left has jalapenos in it with a bit of sweet sauce. The jalapenos were so overpowering you couldn't taste anything else. I love me some wasabi and to the point it hurts, but jalapenos aren't my choice for heat, that's for sure.

It's a darn good thing I don't live less than 1/2 a mile from this place like I used to live ~ 10 years ago, albeit it was a Pizza Hut at the time. :r

More than likely LOL. Kabuki roll was $14 and the Firecracker app in the top right is $6. Add vodka to that and it starts getting pricey.

This weekend the wife and I are going to our local place that offers all you can eat sushi. Runs about $50 or so for the both of us and it has ruined me on other sushi places. Everywhere else I go I look at the prices of rolls and think, "For twice that I could get all you can eat!" Looking forward to it, we haven't been in quite a while.

I have always thought of sushi as kind of..............well, gross.

Then the boss gave me some money for food on a trip and I told myself that I was going to eat foods that I have never tried.

Long story short, I LOVE SUSHI!

Me and a buddy of mine ate $100.00 worth of sushi last week.

Welcome to the fold! The sushi fold :D

Some great looking starter rolls there. Being adventurous is kind of my M.O. so I always appreciate when others go outside of their comfort zones as well. Start giving some nigiri sushi a try. Its the next step up from the rolls and it is generally my favorite. Plenty of options and they are almost all fantastic!

Then after that, you can move on to Uni :D

Wasn't sure what it was called but I did have some nigiri sushi, didn't get a picture of it. I like the yellow tail? the best.

I have been told that the UNI sushi is kind of an acquired taste/texture kind of sushi. I may have to try it.

No, the 3rd pic is a jumbo spider roll-soft shell crab & avocado w/ eel sauce/spicy mayo.

For the record, the others are:

1) Precious roll-shrimp tempura w/ lobster salad/spicy salmon on top
2) American Dream-spicy tuna/avocado topped w/ red snapper
4) Magic castle-spicy tuna/cream cheese w/ tuna on top
Speedy Way-spicy crab topped with shredded crab/spicy mayo/crunchies on top
