2006 Nissan Xterra. I love this Truck so much. So much room, so many options. Even the MPG isn't too bad at 18. Picture makes it look a lot smaller than how big it actually is.

Re: What do you drive?

A couple of changes to our cars. While driving my T&C van to Costco a few weeks ago, my lady asked why the brakes sounded the way they did. When I explained that it was going to need brakes soon and that I would probably need to put another $500 or so in it she said that I wouldn't. She had been planning to get a new CRV in January, she pushed it forward a few months. Now I get to drive the 04 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and she has her new CRV. Man is the Buick a nice car, 59k miles and every comfort I could ever want.

It doesn't carry as much as my truck and isn't quite as comfortable, but on our anniversary trip we went about 1200 miles @ 34.4 mpg. Big Tess would have been doing good to get 14.5mpg. I can pack lighter and not be as comfortable once in a while :)

PearlS4 10-22-2012 01:45 PM

Re: What do you drive?

That huge E300 Turbodiesel above gets 34 highway, just sayin. You don't have to sacrifice comfort, economy, or power in the quest for good mileage.

2012 4 door VW GTI.

I work for VW so it is on lease. I'm about to trade it in for the next vehicle. I'd really like to get another GTI (or GLI or CC...something fast :)) but there aren't any available :(. Instead - I think I'll drive the only American-made VW - the Passat (made about 100 feet from where I'm sitting RIGHT NOW :tu)

The Z4 is a great car, but it's an auto. I think if it were a manual I'd like it even more than my S2000....would've had the Z4M if it were up to me, but nope lol. The Pathfinder is a rock. 200k miles and no signs of slowing down and pretty darn good off road.

Z4 is a beautifully shaped car. The current Z4 is BMW's best looking car by far IMO. Why didn't you go for the M? There's a black one down the street from me. Do you like the Z4 coupe as well? Now that is a hard top, it's got to be one of the best looking cars in its segment.

Wife wanted an auto, so no M, which is the one to have imo. We both love the way the hardtop looks, but I had to have a convertible. I'm kinda mixed on the new Z4. Some days I look at it and I'm glad we got ours, and other days, I just :dr.

That there is my Traverse people hauler with a DVD player and a bunch of buttons that I really don't understand.
Behind that is Weeze's Sonata. I can't even figure out how to get in it. Sometimes you push the button on the door handle, sometimes you don't. It just pisses me off, so I don't ever drive it. Or ride in it. :)
We look like the Gas Company with 2 white cars in the driveway, but they always start and I don't ever have to push them, so it works for me. :tu

It is a blast. However, gets you in trouble with the places you try to take it.

Is it a stick or auto? I use to rent those when I was working in OKC. They are a hoot to drive; full throttle all the time! Just like an Italian car is supposed to be driven. I wanted Elys to get one, but she wanted a Range Rover... The boss won.
