Lets not pretend the Dolphins are all perfect model citizens either... Phillip Merling, Tony McDaniel, Ronnie Brown, Brian Hartline, shall I keep going?

Both teams played good games, but the Jets continue to back up with the play that they say they will have.

Game? This isn't a game... this is a beatdown. And, considering I loathe the bills with the majority of my being, this makes it even better.

They should become a farm team.

Skol Vikings! :D

Should be an exciting game tonight. 2 great defenses, and the first game back in purple for Mr. Moss.

Good luck, but I hope we blow you out. :p

Mikepd 10-11-2010 10:46 PM

Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!

Was it a great game? Yes!
Was it a blow out? Not in any case.
Was it sloppy at times for both sides? Sure was.
Was I surprised at times? You bet on it.
Did we have two future HOF QB's playing tonight? I'd bet on it.
Was I happy with the outcome? A win is a win.

If you ever told me the Jet's would start the season 4 and 1, with their loss being a single point difference at a total combined score of under 20; I prob would tell you to stop getting my hopes up. This was a hell of a game with some classic football being played all night long. This season continues to be a great bunch of games.

Glad to see the Jets beat the Vikings for the Bears divisional chances. But as for my fantasy league 5 FG 5! They could of easily beaten the Vikings by 20, cost me a bucket of chicken. But it sure was a fun game to watch. J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win!

Not Sanchez's best game, BUT I'll take 0 INTs any day.

Revis is clearly not 100%

Amen to that...

And Ravens are playing Pats next? Its getting better and better by the day.

The only concern is 0 for 4 in red zone, that is not acceptable at all.

Wow!

I would say I would bet the house, the car and the wife on one of them for sure.
The other? Aren't we putting the cart before the horse here?
He has potential but to date, that is all he has.
As an example, don't know too many HOF QB's that don't throw touchdowns in a game, in the red zone.
Mark threw a goose egg last night.

Great win for the Jets.

Don't piss in their wheaties Carlos. Sanchez is clearly the best young QB to come along since Ryan Leaf.

Haha, While Sanchez is anything but a HOF QB, 0 INTs in 5 games means something.

Um, no I don't. They've played nobody, and not Sanchez hasn't looked very good doing it. The fact they don't let him throw the ball downfield is the only reason he has not Int's much like what they did with him early last year. The problem with guys like Sanchez is eventually they have to be asked to WIN a game, not just be told not to LOSE it.

I was about to post some stats for Sanchez showing how many yards has already has and how many 20+ yard passes he has and such.

I was about to argue how he was asked to win a game on national tv, on the road against a divisional rival in Miami.

I was about to argue that most people would say NE, Miami, Minnesota are NOT nobodies.

BUT after reading this and other posts you've written it is clear you haven't actually watched any Jets games and don't really have a firm grasp on the sport of football in general.;s

True.
Great teams do find ways of winning, however it may be, whether by running mostly and/or with a great defense. As a perfect example, the Ravens team that beat the Giants in the Super Bowl.

However, a HOF QB that does not make.

Tough to throw picks when you only have to throw 5 and 10 yard passes

The Jets have faced two good D's, Baltimore and Vikings. Sanchez rating in those games? In the 50's. Much like his lifetime completion percentage, LOL. The days of teams winning the SB with Dilfer quality qb's is over, and the Jets have a team of aging, overpriced free agents built to win now. Ain't gonna happen with Sanchez, Dan

Or, the following will happen in this order:

1 - Jets will win

2 - the haters will come in and say "well... let's see what happens when they play a REAL team..." (again)

Yup, and 0 INT, 1st among starting QBs and 8 TDs 7th. keep picking him apart.

I don't mind you hating, but come up with something new. My whole point is that everything you said applied to Sanchez and the Jets LAST YEAR. I mean last week he threw what 29 passes in the first half? Your going to hold it against him for going to the checkdown instead of throwing it into traffic like most 2nd year QBs?

You can hate all you want but come up with something new, enough with regurgitating the same crap every nervous Giants fan has said since this time last year.

Hey,
Leave my Giants out of this.

Quick story:
Guy finds a genie.
Genie says, I will grant one wish, any wish you want.
Guys thinks about it and says, I want to live forever.
Genie says sorry, that is the one wish I cannot grant you.
Guy then says he wants to live until the Jets win another Super Bowl.

Actually intended to be for the Browns but I guess also applies here.:r

That's how I am about the Vikes. They have all the pieces these last couple years, except for the head coach. Have NEVER liked him, and think that Frazier would be a better head coach.

1. Since I haven't said it already, thank you for your service Vic. I have a brother in Afghanistan right now and another brother that finished his tour in Iraq in January. If it weren't for people like you, people like me wouldn't be able to enjoy the freedoms we take for granted every day.

2. You can't be a Jets fan and NOT have thick skin, I've been dealing with the hate all of my life. . . It ain't easy being green. All that I'm saying is make a point, as jaded as you are toward the Jets you HAVE to admit that they have a good team and for a second year QB that only started one season in college, Sanchez is playing pretty good.

I love seeing the haters getting more and more belligerent with every Jets win!:banger

Define a real team, Vic. Miami was playing pretty good until we beat em, but I'd like to know your idea of what a 'real team' is.

I'll be dead serious for a second. Miami isn't a good team, period. Buffalo is a bad team. Vikings are a bad team. Patriots are an aging team on the decline. The best team the jets have played they lost to.

Not necessarily their fault, but the jets again have a less than difficult schedule. Green bay and Houston are probably the toughest teams they'll face, and neither is all that scary
