This made me lol.
At least the Mets are learning from their mistakes. Putting DeGrom on the DL is the right move.
The old Mets would've waited for his arm to fall off.
Surprised how fast the sink is shipping, and it'll only get worse if Cespedes hits the DL.

Agreed that putting deGrom on the DL is the correct move. I, too, cannot belive how fast the ship is going down. Bruce signing looks even muddier now...the man cannot produce in NY. He hits one HR in a big spot and then disappears for a month and let's not even talk about his defense in right.

Mets finally win one tonight, against the Reds, 7-6. They tried to give it away though.

Worst thing is that our wins leader is a guy from the bullpen.

Reds are now 8-27. A little algebra says this projects out to a final season record of 37-125.

I was at the Reds game last night. It was an entertaining game, but not the outcome that I wanted :tg

As a Yankee fan, I'm holding my breath. How long can they keep this up?

Pretty amazing when you consider the top of the lineup has been ice cold.
Over the current 7 game win streak

Gardner 3 for 21 - .143
Judge 6 for 28 - .214
Didi 5 for 25 - .200
Sanchez 3 for 20 - .150

Stanton hasn't been great but he hasn't been awful either. It really has been the two rooks at the bottom of the lineup carrying the team.

I don't understand why the Reds took Harvey. Harvey is a washed up bum

Mets batted out of order in the first inning today. Manager/ Bench coach problems?

The Mets are starting to really suck.
My nephew's tball team might be better.

Thank God they got rid of that washed up bum Harvey.
Not sure what the Reds were thinking.

Torres and Andujar have been awesome, although walker had a massive role last night hitting under 200, cant wait for Bird to come back into the lineup and hopefully stays fit! Tanaka tonight!

Typical past few weeks of our season. This is little league crap.

Mes may not be able to play defense anymore but he can still hit somewhat.

Be still my heart, another comeback win over Boston and Gardner breaks out! All is well in the world, now we just need a sweep.

Ready for the good news, Mac?
The Mets are off today.
So there's only a 60% chance of them losing! :D

Tigers are 6 games under .500 but only 3 games back. What a crap division.

NL Central top 4 teams are 1 game apart total. And then there's the Reds. :r ;s
