Re: American Horror Story
This show gets more interesting by the episode.

Re: American Horror Story
the brain eating thing really made me wanna puke.

Re: American Horror Story
I did not like this episode much. I am thinking, OK, this went from generic horror well-presented, to Damien,
Omen 4. "hooves"? CMON. Still, good show, just not the best one they've run, far from it. It seems like the story is going in a implausible direction SO EARLY. But we shall see. Makes you wonder who the guy in the rubber suit is. |
Re: American Horror Story
Last nights episode was interesting. I think that this show continues to get more intriguing with each episode. I am waiting for the wife to have this baby already. The whole raw meat and brain eating is disgusting...who would do that even if they were told it is better for a baby? Crazy...

Re: American Horror Story
Dang, the hot version of housekeeper is just too darn hot!
I think the baby will look like the creapy thing in the attic. |

This show gets weirder and weirder and weirder. But that young maid is freaking hot. The older version, not so much.

Re: American Horror Story
I like how they continue to give out little tidbits on the history of the house each show. I'm starting to mentally put together the chronology.
Definitely agree about the maid--"hey, a little less teeth...!" :jd :lr |
Re: American Horror Story
Weird stuff is going on but that is why I like it. I agree that nobody would just eat a brain when told it is good for the baby. When they where suffocating the potential buyer guy with the bag did you see the maid changed for a second from young to old? I thought that was cool. Good show, I am enjoying it.

Re: American Horror Story
I hate to say it but for me this show is heading south. I was gripped for about 4 episodes but now
I am kind of yawning. We are learning more and more about what's really going on, but the story in the present is workin my nerves. |
Re: American Horror Story
The story has taken a cool turn. Does the Dr. Harmond know he's seeing ghosts. Man was he of good moral stature to turn down those two hotties on his sofa!

Re: American Horror Story
I finally caught up on this show and I have to say I was digging it until the reveal toward the end of the latest episode.
Spoilers The whole thing about the second baby being the Antichrist changes it from being a show about a haunted house to being an Apocalyptic situation of greater importance than I think it deserves. I wish they had just left it at being a haunted house and left the religious aspect out of it. I'm getting sick of the heavy handed "good vs evil" religious imagery that keeps getting inserted into shows. It ruined the last seasons of Lost and Battlestar Galactica. End Spoilers |
Re: American Horror Story
I am about three episodes behind, two after last night's viewing, and may I say the episode with Mena Suvari
suddenly got this show back on track, I guess having the wife away keeps me from throwing things at the TV. |

Can't wait for the season finale? Is there going to be a next season?

Re: American Horror Story
This is also a lot like what happened with LOST. The show was planned to be all twisted upon itself, but at first
no one was watching it, so I think they tried kind of a premature wrap up for the storyline, and then they got some steam built up, and had to get themselves out of all the stuff they did to the plot. I think that this show, AHS, kind of suffered from the same fate. The storyline went WAY down the track, and now that they have been given their orders to make more, they are going to have to fix some of the big things they wasted plot on as a one-hit wonder. I am probably dead wrong, but bringing baby antichrist in on episode 9 was kind of a endgame move, IMO. I wonder if it will be Justin Beiber? |
Re: American Horror Story
I know TV is a business, but as far as story-telling goes, what would be the harm in wrapping up this season and putting an end to the Harmon family storyline? The house can go on living, killing, haunting, etc., but after the past 2 episodes, the Harmon's seem to be a.... skeleton... of their former selves. :D Not sure how much more that dysfunctional family drama can play out.
