I did the opposite than I usually do...I languished near the bottom until February, instead of being in first for 5 months and tanking! :r

Home stretch time. I was making ground and thought I had an outside chance at 2nd but have lost ground in the last couple of days. It's now officially a battle between Tom and Bigwaved. Should be an exciting finish! :tu

Re: '09-'10 CA Fantasy Hockey Alumni League

Not necessarily, Brett...my games management was poor the first half, and I am almost done at all positions besides defense. Hoping to hold on to one of the two "money" spots, but I think you have a decent chance for 1st or 2nd based on your better game management. :)

Re: '09-'10 CA Fantasy Hockey Alumni League

Yeah, I have about 30 games extra, but in most of the categories that I could gain points I am way behind the person ahead of me. Too difficult to gain points. My only chance is if my goalies turn into stone walls but since they haven't done that for the first 75 games of the season, why would they start now? ;)

Won't stop me from trying, though. :)

Been fun so far, Brett....keep plugging'! :tu

Re: '09-'10 CA Fantasy Hockey Alumni League

This season has been crazy, imo. My team is like Sybil. My strategy in the draft was not what I had hoped for. To be really honest, I am surprised that the standings are like they are. Tom is spot on with the end of the season will tighten up since both of us are running really low on games left with the offensive slots. A little off topic, who is willing to kidnap Glen Sather for me? He needs to just go away...:D

Maybe I'd do better, but after two years I still can't figure out how the scoring is calculated.

My goalies have been pretty awful this year too(hey look at that we are tied for last in S% :r)

Need to try and move ahead of my fellow habs fan:D

If you ever make it to a herf I am at, we can discuss it in depth over some crappy cigars, Patrick.

Here is to the last day of our season! I am stoked for the playoffs to begin. Nothin' better, imo.

Thanks. This was a really weird year, I think. I got some good production out of some 2nd tier players. Better to be lucky than good sometimes. :xxx

Good job Dave and Tom, My skaters were rock solid this year, but my goalies were terrible.

72/90 pts for skaters
14/50 pts for goalies

Time for some playoffs w00t!!!

Congrats to Bigwaved (Dave) on winning the 09-10 Alumni League!

...and to that DB icehog3 for taking 2nd. :lv

Thank you all for playing, I hope y'all had as much fun as I did, and that you will be back for '10-'11

Final StatTracker stats after the last game of the season have Dave with 105.5 points, Tom with 100 and Brett in 3rd with 97.5

I will send the winners' addresses to all of you via PM and e-mail. Please send 2 cigars to Dave and one to me as agreed upon before the season.

Please post DC numbers here in the thread so we can track everyone's packages.
