Here is my first (Satori Leianna) at 3 months old in here Easter dress.

http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._2716064_n.jpg

At first I wasn't too thrilled when the misses said she was pregnant. We had to put ALOT on hold, but I tell ya'll this, It was 100% worth it when I first saw/held her. She slept on my chest her first days and I never slept; I thought I'd roll over on her!!

But she is my heart and sole. I'd do anything for her, I've canceled things to be with her, and don't regret anything.

I've learned:
1. Sleep when they sleep
2. Don't wear white too much when feeding
3. They learn quickly and make a new noise every week
4. No matter how bad your day was, when they see you and smile, the day gets alot better!

I'm not a father yet but my woman keeps telling me she wants kids soon after we get married next year. I am starting to come around due in part by this thread. The sheer joy that children seem to bring you guys is amazing. I always think of the negative aspects but I see that I seriously have overlooked the positive. :tu

There are 100 reasons not to have a kid, but all that goes away the first time you hold them or the first time they smile or they first time they call you daddy.

It's not something you really get convinced of, more akin to something that "clicks" when you meet them for the first time.

If you don't have kids, it's like trying to explain the color red to a blind man.

Cool Thread Patrick. I can't believe I just stumbled across it now. I'm the happy "Papa" to my 5 yr old Son Malachi, my 4 yr old daughter Bella, and one more still in the oven. Due date is in January 2012. Like we did with the first two, we're going to wait and let the gender be a surprise. I'll post some pics of the fam when I get a chance.

As a paying member of this club, I gotta brag, too.

My oldest will turn 8 in Nov. followed by her younger brother who will be 7 in Jan. Here they go at Black River on July 4th. Grandaddy is in the last picture with his two "knot-heads". They truly grow up way too fast. I don't even want to think about it.
