Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's looking like we're going to have the hottest day of the summer today. The weather guessers are calling for 93 degrees and humid with hardly no breeze and thunderstorms in the evening as a result. This will continue through Saturday as the summer has finally hit the East Coast. Well, the Yankees won big last night, 9 - 0 over the White Sox and they'll do it again this evening. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's finally Friday! Well, we had a great time last night at Doc James Cigars with Adam and his entire crew doing another top notch job. The food was outstanding as chef Chris Lena did a superb job. It was great to see the guys (Erik Espinosa, Danny Moya, Juan Cancel and Jose Galvez) as always. David (thechenman) along with my eye doctor Vernon attended which is always great to see (no pun intended) and Sean Keever (Big Guns BBQ) showed up as a surprise. It was good to see the Yankees win, hopefully they finish off the first half of the season this way. The NASCAR racers are in Kentucky this weekend with night races tonight and tomorrow evening. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already "Hump Day". Congrats to the AL as the beat the NL last night in the MLB All-Star game. It's pretty quiet at work with a lot of Cadets in the field and others attached the active Army units all over the world. Keeping myself busy though getting ready for the up-coming Quad State Herf XI - Wings for Warriors fund raiser which is in just over 3 weeks. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Had a good evening at Schlesinger's last night, the regulars were there and I caught up with a couple of ole' friends as well. Beth and I will be heading out in the morning to the Poconos as we are escorting the West Point Military Police Color Guard who will be presenting the US Colors in the opening ceremonies in Sunday's NASCAR race. We have some stuff to do tomorrow at the track and then we'll watch the NASCAR Camping World Truck race. We're planning on being at Victory Lane for both races which is always a blast. Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Tuesday. We had a great weekend overall even though Sunday's NASCAR race got postponed until yesterday because of rain. We did get to meet every driver and they all signed my Pocono cap which will no be apart of my collection. Got to hang out with Guy Fieri from the Food Channel for a couple of hours as well as he would have been the honorary starter of the race. Tomorrow is assembly day of the goodie bags and all of the raffle stuff which is amazing. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Thursday (only a 2 day work week). Beth and I had a blast the past 5 days gallivanting up and down Seneca Lake. We visited a good dozen wineries, breweries and even had lunch in a castle. Definitely going back and we highly recommend the Inn at the Grist Iron Brewery. Congrats to the Eagles and all of the other winning NFL teams yesterday as well. I see that the Yankees winning streak stopped yesterday at 7 as they came up a little short.
