And the way the Mets seems to hit the DL you know he will be starting by May. :r

Roy Halladay has put some pressure on the Blue Jays and the rest of baseball. It is being reported that he will only approve a trade this offseason. If he is not traded before he reports to spring training he will not waive his no-trade clause because he does not want to deal with what happened this past season.

Good for him. The way the Jays handled the situation around the deadline was poor.

Doc even said that was what caused him to lose focus. It will be interesting to see who gets him if anyone this winter.

The Jays want young talent, something the Mets lack considerably.

I think what will keep him from going to the Mets is the lack of a chance to win a championship.

True statement there...absolutely nothing down on the farm.

If the Mets can stay healthy and get some PITCHING...we have a shot.

Even with Doc I don't see the Mets winning the Wild Card. The NL East is pretty far away with Philly in charge. But you never know, that is why they play the games.

And they just signed Brian Schnieder as their back-up.

Bily Wagner has signed with the Atlanta Braves. $7M for 2010 and a $6.5M option for 2011.

The Red Sox have signed Marco Scutaro for 2 years with an option for a 3rd year.
