although I'm not a fan of most of RP's cigars, the sun grown and the edge are good cigars. I don't remember if I liked the OWR or not. Never had the Nica Libre before. You'll have to post up a review!

The Nica Libre's are better than the Padron x000 line.

I don't know if I would go that far... The Nica Libre's are a good cigar for the price but I'd take a Padron Palmas or a x000 anyday of the week. :2

I dont know if the nica libre and the padron x000 are liek comparing apples to apples. I know that's what CI wants you to believe... but i think they have different flavor profiles (ie - the nica libre is a more blunt almost peppery taste)

I agree with this...

The Padron Palmas that I smoke have a very chocolatey flavor to them. I don't get that same flavor out of the Nica Libre's.

I love the Padrons x000 line, in fact, they are, to my tastes, one of the best lines out there for that price. So, your assertion is quite the bold statement.

So, have you done some reviews somewhere? Would love to read some, as this brand has intrigued me with their claim. I know they are claiming to be rip-offs of the sizes and shapes of the PAM 64, I know that isn't true. However, if they could come close to the Padron x000s, that'd be worth the price too.

I didn't do a formal review, but I have smoked 3 Nica Libres and I find them to be much smoother than the Padron.

those Nica Libres sure are intriguing, I might have to pick up a fiver. on to my latest pickups, we had out Christmas present opening early and I got these:

I wouldn't call you a ho for liking good cigar, I got a Criollo Matador, and was it a smooth one. I'd like to get more, but so many other things to try

The maduro matador is my favorite cigar. I always try to keep a few on hand. But, I was gifted a criollo lancero and it was right up there.
I completely agree about too many things to try. I got into cigars about a year ago, and it seems like the more smokes I try, more are out there that I haven't got to...

I really like kristoffs as well when they burn and draw well, I bought a box at a tastin and sadly many of them didn't have a great draw but when they are on they rock
