I have the M&P 9mm. I hate to admit it b/c I am a Glock fanboy, but I
think it shoots better than the Glock.

The M&P is great, I love mine. They only have one downfall. They have a habit of rusting a little bit if you don't keep the oiled. With that all said alot of the local LEOs are going to them. Shooting a Fish & Wildlife officer sold me on mine.

It was late. I meant shooting with an F&W officer. Wow no more post after 10 for me.

I was at a family birthday party last weekend, and my nephew came up to me to show me his new 380 that he thought was the greatest thing. Guess what brand it was.

That’s right it was a jimenez arms 380. I hope he is just planning on trying to hit them in the head with it.

 Not only is it a poor caliber, it is a junk gun.

I hope it works for him

The .380 has its place... I wouldnt call it a poor caliber, especially with todays modern ammo.

Point taken,

When I have time, I will try to find the link from ar15.com where a member on there had a crazy lady come into his work. His boss unloaded an entire mag of .380 on her and didn't kill her.

I will look tonight.

But, you can say that all ammo has some problems with it. I can see that the .380 has its place, just not something I will trust my life with.

I agree! Awesome piece Al. I have never had the opportunity to shoot a 1911 style gun I have wanted to but just not been lucky enough to.

On another Note I picked up a Glock 27 yesterday to get geared up for my CWP :wo

Al, how'd you manage to get the Kimber in Mass ... private sale?

I'd love to pick up a 1911, but options are limited here.

That first pic is great, I'd love to have one of each :)

On a related note, albeit the opposite end of the spectrum, this was my pick up today:

Glock 27's are great. I personally love the .40 S&W round.
