I've always wondered about those cigar blends, are they anything like a pipecigar or are they more cigarpipe? Seriously though, how is it?

Pirate Kake thanks to Chad:tu

Its good stuff Jake, and it has a couple plus yrs of age on it at this time. Spicy, sweet, gets better at the 1/2 way mark, and depending how fast you puff will determine tongue bite. For me, tongue bite is minimal at best. Easy baccy to keep burning. Nice aroma. A smidge maybe of vitamin N. I really wanted another bowl, but had to get my rear-end in gear for work:D

In our last trade, didn't I send you some Peretti's Cuban blend?

Really good. It's defanitly a VaPer with the Perique spice balanced by the Va sweetness but it's tuned down a bit meaning that it has the flavor of fuller blends like Bayou Morning but not the body. Also there is a complexity like herbs/olives that was there around the 2nd 3rd:tu

Cuban Blend thanks to Mark! Good stuff and smoked it in a cob. There is a lot going on in it, tasted some cigar leaf, VA, and mid bowl it tasted like cedar. Pretty neat stuff, thanks Mark!

This morning: some H&H Virginia Spice in the Boswell Poker Freehand. Smokey, spicy, and medium finish with more spice. Burns really nice with just a couple of relights. A good baccy:dr

My mind was set to burn a Kristoff Corojo Limitada robusto this morning, and as I opened the drawer to secure my humi key, a Mason jar of GLP Haddo' Delight said "Mark, you know its been awhile..." So...

A bowl of Haddo' this morning in the Boswell Poker Freehand:dr:D

Been hitting the AJ's VaPer pretty heavy lately. Lots easier to use but I can't decide whether I like it as much as Anni Kake.

The AJ' a bit more spicier than the Anni Kake isn't it Tim?

A little more Perique yes. Not sure what effect the Black Cavendish has in the blend.
I may end up just haveing to keep some of each around - that's how I usually resolve these issues :)

Mac Baren 7 Seas Regular Blend. First time with this blend!

I opened the pouch and the scent was like :dr :noon but the tobacco was extra-moist.
I expected a strong aromatization, but instead it was (IMHO) mild.

BTW looking forward to smoke it again :)

Re: Whats in your bowl?

emopunker don't say it so, normally the B&M "bargain" blend is the left overs of all their bulk blends put together, don't get turned off of the pipe if that one doesn't sit well with ya.:tu

Solani Virginia Flake w/Perique in a 7/8" new Kaywoodie Relief Grain forum pipe. This is my first dash with the SVF+P - excellent quality, gentle perique, sour/lemon virginia. Very, very nice. Pipe smokes great but anything lined usually tastes a little bad to me the first few bowls. It shall pass. This pipe will definitely stay with virgina- and vaper tobaccos. It's a pip!

Brebbia Allegro Mix n°24, a virginia and burley mixture mango and vanilla flavored.

http://i49.tinypic.com/28aqjwp.jpg

Very balanced, mild, but at the first puffs it tickles the palate a little bit.
While still in the tin, it had a wonderful and rich "tropical" aroma... yum! :dr

Smoked in a Parker Super Briar Bark.

Tried some Dunhill Nightcap. Wow.... That was some strong stuff (nicotine wise). Had my head spinning and a little stomach twing. Maybe smoked it too fast? wasn't on an empty stomach. Some sugar and some water managed to set things right.

My, my, my... you ARE getting old, aren't you? :r

Yeah but....I am pretty sensitive to nicotine overdose and never found Nightcap particularly daunting. Try again, another time of day?

Popped a tin of 2010 Haddos Delight, Jared it,
Then smoked a big cool bowl in my Peterson. I love this stuff its nice n fruity at the start,

Escudo Navy Deluxe
I liked this I can see why people rave about it. Great flavor no bite didn't burn too hot. And the coins are cool. Just fold a coin a couple times to a quarter circle, stuff it in the bowl and go.

They were Mark. But this New England weather has been so nice I had to break them out before Labor Day. We went exploring all through Groton, Mystic, and Ledyard and all the whaling history has me craving a nice stout English blend!
