"Hunger Games" on Netflix

Watched the last season of "Breaking Bad", and then a Jim Gaffigan comedy called "Mr. Universe". That was REALLY funny.

Frozen- Daughter loved it. I thought it was good.

Free Birds- Daughter thought it was ok. I laughed at the adult inuendos.

Last night Weeze and I watched Drive.
It was supposed to be the best movie of 2010. It did not score well here at all.

21 & Over -- For a very formulaic teen, drunk, buddy, road-trip, comedy, this was tolerable -- as much as I wanted to hate it, I found myself laughing out loud more than I care to admit

We're the Millers -- Always love Jennifer Aniston. Good acting and comedic timing. Some funny bits -- but had much more potential -- if they'd spent just a little more time on the jokes and gags, they wouldn't have had to go so low and end up trashy.

Evil Dead (remake) -- REALLY wish they would have left this one alone. Orig FAR superior, even with very bad special effects. Huge waste of time.

Safe -- I'm pretty critical of most action stars (and films), but Statham regularly impresses me. Nothing too remarkable about this flick, but it was entertaining to the end.

Unlike my buddy Scott, I've been laid OFF and not UP, so I too have watched a few more flicks of late. The latest have included:

Man Of Steel - IMHO, the absolute best Superman version ever, by leaps and bounds. And FYI, I started watching these with the Reeves iteration . . . George, not Christopher.

White House Down - Which was fun, but maybe should have been entitled "Olympus Has Fallen 2". :r

I thought it was OK. Pretty slow. I kept waiting for something to happen.

All I knew is that it was about some kids, all different breeds had detention together.

It's deemed to be one of those "classics" that you should watch, like Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan.

Two Guns. I like both Wahlberg and Denzel -- and they were pretty good together. Almost tries too hard to be Departed. Pretty twisted up plot and I need to watch it again before I send it back to Netflix. Good movie.
