Re: The Wine Thread
Split a nice bottle of 2015 Turley Petite Syrah with my better half tonight. I really like the Turley reds.

Gotta admit I bought this partly cause the label is sofa king cool. But at ~25% off a bottle, at $17, it was worth the investment. It also has a very good rating on the Vivino app. Have to agree, it was delicious with my NY strip steak. |
Re: The Wine Thread
One can never go wrong with a South African or Australian red, however; I am kinda partial to "Porch Climber" of any vintage day.

Re: The Wine Thread
Went to a "local" restaurant in Puerto Rico that had an awesome wine list with almost no markup. Had a 2014 Shafer Hillside Select Cab for about what we would have paid in a store! So that was cool.
May or may not be developing a "quarantine stockpile" that has been extended to wine now, too. :D |

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, 2012. Bought this at Total Wine on a recent trip to Louisville. Glad I grabbed two bottles.
