Well Walmarts by me don't carry the iPhone. Best Buy has a 4 page waiting list an Apple no longer has preorders. First come, first serve!

I guess I can stop sweating... This is my first smart phone and I was worried about the data usage deal as I only got the 200 MB plan. I tried several times to check it online, but could never find it. Yesterday I got my first bill notification and checked it... 18.9 MB used!!! Not worried anymore!!!

^ unless you're running heavy video streaming 3G or tethering you'll be "ok".

I balked a little too when AT&T announced their new data plans. But then I breathed a sigh of relief when I found out that current unlimited plans were grandfathered in :tu

Echo tethers her iPad to her iPhone 4 so our data usuage will be fairly high I'm sure.

Do you have to pay extra to tether or is it included in the data plan?

AT&T does charge extra for tethering, which I don't understand as you've already paid for the data to begin with. However, if you do go the Jailbreak route there's an app called MyWi that does the trick :tu

At the suggestion of someone earlier in this thread, I contacted Otterbox and they sent me, for free, the new belt clip that is as snug as a bug in a rug and my phone stays put now.:banger

Erick and I tried connecting last night.
I think it is his router/internet that is the issue.
He mentioned he has had problems before.
When he would try Facetime, it would leave the wifi signal and go to 3G.
Don't think that has to do with the phone.
Will see him later and will try again in person.
