Never had the Knockando. Curious to try it.

Where did you find the Knockando? I've been looking for some. PM me if you can get more bottles, thanks!

My favorite El Cheapo McCellannd's Islay Single Malt was on sale so I picked up 2 bottles @ $21.99 each. :D

I bought a bottle of Macallan 12 year old scotch. It came with a shooter of the 18 yr old. Tried the 18 yr old and really didn't like it at all. Very floral and cedar tastes. Maybe my scotch taste buds need more evolving but I didn't like it at all.

Picked up some JW Black today. A good standby for frequent scotch drinking.

Last purchase was Glenlivet Nadura. I don't drink scotch myself, but my buddy that owns the cigar bar I frequent LOVES scotch. I bring him a bottle of something good now and again.

I went on the cheap and got a bottle of Bowmore for New Years Eve.

WOW. Wasn't quite prepared for that peat. I did kill half the bottle though, but my wife refuses to let me drink the rest :)

Just picked up a bottle of Macallan 10yo to use in my beer brewing (soaking some maple chips in it for addition to secondary).

I'll use a 1/2 cup for the brew and end up drinking the rest with a nice stick or 10...

My daughter brought me back a bottle of Laphroig Triple Wood from England. Delicious. I think it will be better as a summer wiskey though. Sweeter than the regular Laphroig.

Add another Lagavulin 16, Bruichladdich Links and Dalmore Cigar Malt to this list. Good weekend for whisky purchasing, the price difference between the discount booze stores in AB and the gov't liquor stores in BC is too big to pass up, $50/bottle on the Lagavulin alone.

Did you actually find Dalmore Cigar Malt somewhere? If so, please share where!! I cannot find it anywhere as it is out of production. I have been drinking the Dalmore Gran Reserva, which replaced it.

Sure did, at the Liquor Depot in Country Hill's Town Centre in Calgary, AB for $39CDN/bottle. Pretty sure they had a few more on the shelf but unfortunately I don't know if that will help you since it's illegal to ship alcohol across provincial borders in Canada and I would assume that also applies to shipping internationally.
